30 декабря 2007 года, победитель шоу, Bobby Banhart написал на MySpace, что Тила ни разу не позвонила ему после шоу. "Наверное все хотят знать...На самом деле она ни разу не позвонила мне после шоу, никто не дал мне ее номер... Мы не вместе...". Но после Тила выдвинула свою причину разрыва: "Мы не могли встретиться около двух месяцев после шоу, только по телефону говорили. Мы старались поддерживать контакт и идити вперед. Но он не смог обращаться с этим".
Шоу вызвало опоозиции со стороны "Culture and Media Institute", "Media Research Center" и "Parents Television Council". Они назвали два эпизода шоу "Worst Cable Content of the Week" (Самым отвратительным контентом кабельного ТВ за неделю).
Ну, не обошлось и без церкви. "The Christian Post" опубликовали статью, где высказали свое негативное отношение к шоу. Тила тоже не молчала, обвиняя цервки в том, что они разносят сообщества лесбиянок, хотя и молятся за спасение жизни.
Несколько газет выпустило статью о том, что у Тилы есть настоящий бойфренд, что шоу - полная лажа и то, что она вовсе не бисексуалка. Они цитируют "New York Post's Page Six". Однако Тила отрицала эти слухи на ее официальном сайте: "Прежде всего, позвольте мне только сказать, что они берут информацию из источников, которые надо уволить сразу же! Я нахожу абсолютно абсурдным то, что они сделали такое неосведомленное заявление:"Она целовалась с некоторыми девушками в прошлом, как у всех это бывает, но она не би"... Это такой абсурдный стереотип приписывать одно ко всем, это только показывает людям, какими неосведомленными они могут быть".
Второму сезону шоу быть! Все будет то же самое. Дата премьеры неизвестна. Съемки будут проходить в особняке на Голливудский Холмах. На "Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade" Тила обьявила, что MTV дало зеленый свет для второго сезона.
