As I look up into the starry sky
I see a ball of light that catches my eye
It lights up the trees and the ground below
It is the same as the full moon from weeks ago
Just then a rustle in the bushes from up ahead
The sound of a creature who saw us and fled
My allies and I spring to action and give chase
We all run at an even, steady pace
Dodging and darting throughout the trees
We hear the rustles carried through the breeze
Our pray that we are chasing trips up ahead
Within seconds we are upon it and its dead
I take another look up at the full moon
and I let out a howl through the night of June
I speak to the other wolves in the pack
We are wolves so you deer better watch your back
