A weekly Friday night poker game was going strong well into the midnight hour when one of the players from the game returned from a bathroom break with a shocked look to him. "David!" he said with urgency, "Come quick! Your wife is in the bathroom making love to your brother!". "Ok guys" David replied, "this is absolutely the last hand!"
Ivey issued the statement via his Facebook fan page and argued that because Full Tilt had not paid their U.S. players back he did not feel right playing at the WSOP when other players couldn’t.
It’s the first time that Ivey has spoken publically about Full Tilt since online poker’s Black Friday and the site was forced to leave the U.S. market.
Although many poker players first assumed the statement was a hoax, it was later confirmed through Ivey’s manager.
Ivey did not play the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship event that started earlier today.
