Чтобы корочка получилась хрустящей, поставьте решетку с пирогом в выключенную духовку на 15–30 минут. Пирог и так очень вкусный, но нам также нравится делать из него тонкие сухие крекеры. Для этого я нарезаю остывший пирог на ломтики толщиной 1,5–2 мм, кладу их на решетку и выпекаю при температуре 130–140 °C в течение 20 минут или до тех пор, пока они полностью не высохнут. Эти крекеры можно хранить неограниченное время в контейнере с плотной крышкой.
