Folks…

To quote the producer of The Godfather, Robert Evans: «There are three sides to every story: Your side, my side, and the truth. There were lots of questions about last week’s announcements. Audrey was speaking about only one half of the story, (her half), so for everyone who asked, here’s the other side. Then you can make up your own mind about the truth.
Of course, I agree it’s a massive shame to put the brakes on touring right now, but the truth is, making a film is a huge undertaking, and the window of opportunity only opens very briefly, and waits for no one. I’ve been working in film for ten years now, and despite some set backs, and a couple of very disappointing experiences, film has remained a passion and a major part of my life. The band were always aware of this, but that didn’t stop it being a disappointment when the schedules clashed so titanically.
I really, really, REALLY appreciate the amazing support that the fans have given us on this record, and wish we could come and play in everyone’s front lounge for FREE, but alas, despite the 21st century being well under way, holographic technology is still sadly lacking. As you might expect however, music is an important part of making a film, and my friends were always expected to be involved. Anyway, I’m sure the other guys will write something to you all at some point.
In the meantime, there’s going to be a movie, which is going to be totally fuckin’ awwwwsome, further details of which will be announced as things move forward. And, if we can all just keep our cool and make love not war, there’ll be more music to come too.
