Художник Genute Burbaite was born in Vilnius.
Genute has taken interest in art since the age of 13 attending art school besides the secondary school studies. In 1996 graduated Vilnius Art Academy. In 1997 organized personal exhibition "Debiutas" ("Debut") in Vilnius. In 1998 participated in an exhibition in Norway

In 2003 - 2006 went to USA and held there four exhibitions. Genuts artwork was highly evaluated in Washington auction where it was sold for 10 thousand dollars. Her paintings can be found in such countries as Lithuania, Russia, USA and others
