No. 10: Meryl Streep
It's ironic that Meryl Streep played the part of editor-in-chief of one of the world's top fashion magazines. In the movie, "The Devil Wears Prada" Streep (shown here on the left side) has style, and no charm.
In real life (or it's so believed), she is really a fashion nightmare, Mr. Blackwell says. Streep made the list in 2004 and 1986 as well.

No. 9: Sandra Oh
Oh Sandra!
"Grey's Anatomy" star Sandra Oh took the nine spot on the annual dis-list. Blackwell pulled no punches: ""She's layered lunacy from head to toe," he said.

No. 8: Tori Spelling
Tori Spelling may have once had a 90210 address, but the now reportedly cash-strapped-actress-turned-yard-sale-queen may be buying her clothes at Wal-Mart, not Rodeo Drive.
Spelling made the list for the fist time this year. Mr. Blackwell simply filed her under "Down and out in Beverly Hills."

No. 7: Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone is a newcomer to the Mr. Blackwell list for apparently lacking any basic fashion instinct...
She's "an over-the-hill Cruella DeVille," Blackwell notes.
Ouch.
No. 6: Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul's role on "American Idol" has catapulted her back into the spotlight, which isn't necessarily a good thing if we're talking fashion. Says Blackwell: she's "a fallen fashion idol."
Abdul is also no stranger to Blackwell's list. She first appeared back at No. 9 in 1986 and returned at No. 8 back in 2004, when Blackwell commented, "Let’s face it: Perky Paula’s a paint-by-numbers fashion foul — she dresses with all the restraint of a revved-up Simon Cowell!"

No. 5: Mariah Carey
You don't have to be Mr. Blackwell to know that Mariah Carey's fashion sense is questionable. The singer holds the number five spot on Blackwell's list from last year.
She was also the No. 9 for 2000 and the No. 6 in 1998, which leads one to believe that she either ignores Mr. Blackwell's lists - or is in desperate need of a new fashion consultant

No. 4: Christina Aguilera
Mr. Blackwell gave 26-year-old Christina Aguilera high marks for singing and failing grades for fashion: She "puts good taste through the wardrobe wringer. All crass and no class."

No. 3: Lindsay Lohan
Actress Lindsay Lohan marks her third consecutive appearance on Mr. Blackwell's list. She was at No. 2 in 2004, then fell to No. 9 in 2005. This year she's back and as badly dressed as ever - climbing to No. 3 on the dis-list.
Mr. Blackwell noted how the former "Parent Trap" star went from "adorable to deplorable."

No. 2: Camilla Parker-Bowles
Camilla Parker-Bowles, aka the Duchess of Conwall, may one day be the No. 2 on the thrown, and she's number 2 this year on Mr. Blackwell's list.
Doesn't the royal family have fashion consultants? Maybe not. Whether it was Camilla or her staff that picked out her feathered hats remains unknown at this point, but Mr. Blackwell made his distaste clear: "In feathered hats that were once the rage, she resembles a petrified parakeet from the Jurassic age. A royal wreck."

No: 1: Britney Spears and Paris Hilton
This partying pair, who Mr. Blackwell has dubbed the "screamgirls," tied for the top spot in the worst dressed list. Britney was No. 1 last year, while Paris was No. 6. In 2004, Paris was No. 5, and Britney was No. 7. In 2003, Paris took the top spot, while Britney tied at No. 2 with Madonna. Britney also took top dishonors in 2000, and was the No. 2 in 2001. It may be bigger news when they both drop off the list at this point.
Perhaps Mr. Blackwell summed it up best: They're "two peas in an overexposed pod."
