Inculpations in England

Eleven people received inculpations after violence fights who opposed Liverpool and Newcastle fans. Four people were injured by razor blades and were transfered at the hospital. At the end of the game, the pitch was invaded and about 400 seats were destroyed by Newcastle fans.

A la fin de la rencontre, des supporters du PSG entreront dans le bloc visiteur et causeront quelques bagarres. A la sortie du stdade, 2 cars venus d'Auxerre seront attaqués à l'aide de briques et de bouteilles par une bande de fans locaux. Les dommages seront évalués à 150.000FF. Une voiture sera également endommagée. Les CRS interviendront 20 minutes après le début des incidents. De nombreuses personnes seront blessées et 5 supporters locaux arrêtés.

Violent scuffles erupted before, during and after the game. Before the game, some English fought togeter in the ferry 'St Eloi', using bottles and knives. Four people were injured and many damages were caused. When they arrived in France, English fans took cars (normally for the Switzerland destination) and 'played' stock-car!!! Fifteen cars were damaged. When they took the train Dunkerque-Paris, they also damages 4 wagons. Police forces made an intervention and the train stopped for 30 minutes. During the journey, English fans and french skinheads fought together. The pub 'Les Trois obus' is destroyed, 70 vehicles were damaged, a police van attacked and 2 policemen were injured. During the game, fights took place inside the Boulogne stand (normally were the PSG hardcore is located). A local lad was transfered at hospital after he was injured by a machete!!! French CRS made an intervention to restore order. Many seats are teared off. Damages were estimated at 100.000 FF. Finally, 25 arrests were made and 4 Enligsh stayed in jail . After the game, other scuffles occured in the North Station where a french skinhead is cutted at his face.

After violent scuffles with local carabinieri, a young Trieste ultra died at hospital after he was "attacked" by some carabinieri. Seven arrested were made.

Two thousands Olympiakos fans provoked riots, as they are the arch-rivals of PAO fans. Local police forces charged them. Many damages were made.

The pitch was invaded by many thousand of fans of both teams. Visitor ICF tried to make something good for this game but locals were really on their 'top' for this occasion. Thirty people were injured and about 100 arrested. The game was stopped for 11 minutes.
