Наткнулся на ТыТрубе на полудокументальный фильм про Зимнюю войну. О его прэлестях можно было бы написать отдельный пост, но сейчас не об этом. Почитав комментарии, я вступил в полемику с адекватным на первый взгляд (ну, из тех, кто не писал «убить всех русских!») гражданином. Однако уже на третьем комментарии гражданин раскрылся и выдал весь запас вбитых в голову штампов. По опыту зная, что продолжать беседу с такого рода ораторами смысла нет, я ограничился тем, что сделал краткий обзор (комменты на ТыТрубе всего по пятьсот символов — особо не развернуться) предшествующих событий на буржуйском по статье Игоря Пыхалова «Советско-финляндская война: поражение или победа?». Поскольку вышеупомянутому комментатору Правда важнее фактов да и чтобы зря не пропадало, выкладываю здесь.

15 May 1918 Finland declares war to Soviet Russia.
14 October 1920 Peace treaty is signed, Finland got Petsamo.
October 1921 Finnish battalion commanded by Paavo Talvela conquers Reboli and Poros-ozero.
25 January 1922 Kestenga and Kokisalmi are taken.
February 1922 Uhta is taken.
17 February 1922 Karelia is freed from intruders, no military operations.

1930 Three submarines, developed by German naval forces, joins Finnish fleet.
1933 Finland establishes contacts with Japan military.
1936 Repeated meetings between Abwher chief with chiefs of Finnish intelligent.
1939 "Kriegsorganisation Finnland", an Abwehr unit, is organised in Helsinki.
1939 An airdrome network is completed with the help of German specialists. It is capable to take 10 times more aircrafts than Finnish air force had at the moment.

So USSR had a very peaceful and friendly neighbour, nothing to worry about.

March 1939 First attempt to propose to hand over or rent territories. Flat refusal.
12 October 1939 Negotiations are started. USSR proposes assistance pact and exchange of territories. Flat refusal.
14 Ocotober 1939 USSR proposes memorandum where it requests 2761 sq km in exchange for 5529 sq km and rent of Hankoniemi. Next day Finnish delegation leaves to Helsinki.
23 Ocotber 1939 Resumption of negotiations. Finnish side agrees to give 5 islands, move border for 10 km, but refuses to rent Hankoniemi. Mannerheim was almost the only sensible man there, who with all his best suggested to compromise.
3 November 1939 Last round of negotiations. USSR gives up Hankoniemi and asks only for some islands nearby.
9 November 1939 As official Helsinki refuses to give anything nearby Hakoniemi, USSR tries to get at lest Jussarö island to have a safe maritime boundary. Following instructions from Helsinki, Finnish delegation refuses.
26 November 1939 Infamous provocation on the border. The war is declared.

Вяло попытавшись отвергнуть факты, оппонент почитал Википедию и предъявил по поводу того, что в 20-ые годы у нас были открыты летная и танковая школа, химический объект «Томка» и (внимание!) артиллерийская фабрика Круппа в Ростове-на-Дону. В летной школе, конечно же, готовились летчики для Люфтваффе — редкий дар провидения был у немцев.

Снова обратившись к Пыхалову (статья «Кто ковал фашистский меч?» (часть первая, часть вторая)), сделал не очень краткий обзор.

1920-s’ Germany is a respectable democratic republic, quite strong and developing. Nazi back then were just yelping puppies not taken seriously (unfortunately).
Russia is an agrarian country weakened by civil war and intervention, out casted by world community. Industry is technically backward.

1925 Agreement on establishment of flight school near Lipetsk (Luftwaffe is in a far future)
German and Russian pilots and technicians were trained by German instructors. Germany spent least 2 million marks annually there. So Soviets weakened the economy of future Reich :)
1933 School is closed after Nazi become the ruling party
During 8 years of activity Germany got 120 fighter pilots and 100 test-pilots trained, while only in 1932 Germany trained 2000 pilots in Braunschweig and Rechlin.

1928 Tank school in Kazan opened (though agreement was singed as long as in 1925). Again, German takes most of the costs.
Spring 1929 Practical studies are started. Both German and Soviet soldiers are trained by German instructors.
1933 School is closed. Guess why.
During 5 years of activity 30 Germans graduated (mighty army!).

Chemical works «Tomka»
21 August 1926 Agreement on joint chemical tests is signed.
Again Germany invests a lot of money.
The main focus is on research, not training personnel.
Training of German chemists took place mostly in USA.
1933 Project is closed

What do we have in residuo? Germans got some minor technical improvement and a few of trained personnel, whereas Soviet made a huge leap and become capable to concur with world power. Germany spent huge amount of money, resources and time there. All joints were shut after Hitler came to power. But Germans left all the stuff in Russia, so Red Army could continue its development independently. So in many respects USSR owns Weimar Republic for defeating Nazi Germany.

So in any respect it was not Soviet-Nazi collaboration. Btw, about Krupp? s factory in Rostov-on-Don, read Wikipedia more carefully, it says that manufacturer became active, the man, no factories. Of course he supplied feedstock, USSR learned to produce technics :)

Ну и конечно, не был обойден вопрос пакта Молотова-Риббентропа. Но это расписывать у меня уже нет желания, отправил его для начала почитать про Мюнхенское соглашение.
