 Есть три варианта: Paul Curtis, Alvin Stardust или Chris Rainbow?..
 Похоже, что в сто процентной увероенности не ответит ни кто.
 1. Не discogs.com называется псевдоним Поля Майкла Куртиса (Paul Michael Curtis)
 2. В ответе на soul-source.co -это псевдоним Элвин Стардуст (Alvin Stardust).
 3. На  mickfitz.tripod написано, что на самом деле это Крис Рейнбоу (Chris Rainbow)..

Mickey Moonshine - Name It You Got It. A surprise Northern ‘smash’ in 1975, this was practically a new release when first played. It’s striking guitar intro had an immediate effect and this was one of those records that people would literally run to the dancefloor to boogie down. Nowadays it would send people scurrying in the opposite direction as this harmless slice of 70’s stomp has long since had it’s day. Still, it was good while it lasted and on the very rare occasion that it does get a play at oldies nights, it holds its own. The artist was said to be a guy called Chris Rainbow who released several singles in the 70’s - this may be true, but Rainbow is not a very good name to begin with is it? Bizarrely, at the peak of it’s popularity, Name It You Got It was reissued by the ever-on-the-ball Decca who proceeded to issue the B side, Baby Blue, as a Part1/Part 2 double A side and forgot to press Name It You Got It At All until a 1976 reissue came along to quell the demand.

Originally released as the B side of the Northern collectable Name It You Got It (Decca F 13555), this issue is more of interest here as it also offers up a fun instrumental version as the B side. Micky Moonshine was in fact Scottish Beach Boy aficionado/artist Chris Rainbow and Baby Blue fits nicely within the Rock ‘N’Roll Revival/Glam crossover stylee (think Carl Simmons/ Mike Douglas with a sprinkling of Alvin Stardust). It’s has nice loud guitars and slide, a thumping beat along with a determined sounding lead vocal.

Если послушать песни исполняемые Элвин Стардуст (Alvin Stardust) и  Крис Рейнбоу (Chris Rainbow), то похоже они сразу выпадают из списка. Ну даже если предположить, что у кого то из этих исполнителей был псевдоним "Micky Moonshine ", но только вот голос совсем другой, что у одного и другого. Есть на ютубе песня и  Поля Куртиса (Paul Curtis), но имеет ли он отношение к Paul Michael Curtis, так как в его дискографии на www.discogs.com пишут, что он.. -- Английский автор песен, продюсер, написал более 20 песен, которые попали на конкурс Евровидение. Его первая запись была  The Shadows - "Let_Me_Be_the_One" (1975) в качестве композитора и автора текста. Кажется ничего не упустил.)) Ну вот, а теперь можно послушать Alvin Stardust, Chris Rainbow и Paul Curtis.)

Claims are that it could be Alvin Stardust, Paul Nicholas (Just Good Friends actor), Chris Rainbow, Paul Curtis (claimed by Black Echoes magazine), Mickey Most etc. etc.
 However after some research I have discovered that it may if fact be Ben Cross who appeared as Harold Abrahams in the 1981 film Chariots Of Fire along with Nigel Havers. Check the 'Other Professions' section at Wikipedia although it is not clear whether he wrote the song or sang it but I would guess both as the writer credits are Moonshine! ."
