The English year
There are 4 seasons in the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The winter months in Great Britain are November, December, January and February.
In November in America there is a great holiday-Thanksgiving day. Families decorate the houses and eat traditional American food. Roast turkey and pumpkin pie.
On the 25th of December English people celebrate Christmas. They eat roast turkey and Christmas pudding.
In Great Britain there are 2 spring months: March and April. In March English people celebrate- Mothers day and Easter in April .May, June, July and August are summer months. The urather is usually warm but it is often changeable .In June English people celebrate Fathers day.
Autumn comes in September it is nice, warm and dry season. But it can rain too.
On the 31st of October there is Halloween. This is nice, funny holidays.
