Since I'm not awake enough to coherently think and write in Russian the rest of today's posting will be in the language that I'm used to dealing with while half asleep.
I'm still very surprised how differently people treat this site. Some create almost an alter-ego in their journal, others post their most sacred thoughts and desires. I don't think I would be comfortable sharing my real inner self with complete strangers like that. I prefer to be a private person and keeping mostly to myself. Whaterever I post here is what I wouldn't mind saying to someone on a bus.
Judging someone purely on their online persona (including their nick and the colors of their journal) seems very hasty. While some of us have really put a lot of thought into the nick and journal name, others just went with a random word/color/saying, etc. Or perhaps picked a concept that would be the opposite of what they really are in real life. Who is to say that I'm not really a teenage boy with a wild imagination and lots of time on my hands? Ok, so a few of you know me in real life, but you didn't. There's been tons of instances of grown male molesters pretending to be young girls in chat rooms. Analysis of those individuals wouldn't go far. It would be much better to just accept whatever persona is presented and not try to dig any deeper for alternative motives. IMHO.

I realize i am posting my comment to your blog, like way too late.:) Who knows, if you'd get a chance to read it anyways...:)
Anyhoo, here goes, I think, you are correct in concluding, that different people use this website for different purposes. I mean, there are various people in this world, and according to the 1st Amendment we have the right to freedom of speech:)
And that allows averyone express themselves the way they precisely wanna do it. So I think, it's generally up to them, either to become extremely vunerable, vulnerable, a bit vulnerable, or not to show any 'Achilles foot' per se. However, if the latter IS the case, then they won't be here.
I believe, the main purpose of this site to allow people to say, what they wanna say: be it their most inner thoughts or something, that their readers could extrapolate the real 'ego' of a person.
Judging blogers by their site color or their nick or the title of their blogs is not a good idea: they might have their reasons to choose those, ie every situation should, I guess, be trerated in its own way.:)

P. P. S. 'IMHO' is usually used in front of the sentence, for instance, IMHO, the main idea of this blog is... :)
