p--Our parents warned us about lots of things. But who listened to them? People usually learn from their own mistakes, not from the mistakes of others. However, some people do not learn anything. One cannot live with the fear of something bad happening. That is why people go and make mistakes. People can go ahead and make mistakes as long as they learn something. However, if they keep making the same mistake all over again, what is the purpose? I remember everything my mom had been warning me about and heck she was almost right but not quite.
He gave them the appearance of obedience. It was enough. He was smart in that regard. He seemed to be a submissive person but he was not. He had a goal --to fool everyone. And he almost fooled everyone. People are gullible but not all the time. He was of the opinion that it was better to show weakness one time and to make an impression than to seem a tough guy and to make a bunch of enemies
By the time I’d returned home, my spirit had darkened. It happened a lot. Mood changes were a significant part of my life. And it could be explained from the physiological point of view. at least my friend Sara -the nurse always tried to explain everything from the medical perspective--oh your sugar is just low "it's hormones" or you need something to eat. But maybe I just needed to change something in my life. Anyhow, I have a low hemoglobin and I got to do a lot of blood tests. By the way, for the last once they sent a bill-$9000 because it was with the differential or whatever and my insurance refused to pay it. It ruined my weekend because I received the bill on Saturday. I made a friend with a phlebotomist--a very interesting person who moved to the US from Georgia. Not the state of Georgia but the country of Georgia. My parents used to travel to Georgia a lot when it was the USSR and when they were one country. This lady is very interesting. She used to be an art critic and now she raises many children and draws blood. Her name is Nino
We think we can change the world without changing ourselves. First things start with yourself, later address your development and your neighborhood, and do not aim for the stars.
One thing that we agreed upon with Nino--my new Georgian friend is that one cannot change the situation. And if you cannot change the situation, adapt to it. Nino still teaches Art online. Once to twice a week she does tutoring. All the rest of her time she works a repetitive job but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. She does try to change the world by making it more beautiful. She thinks that Art can change the world. This is why she educates people on Art but only when they ask her about it.
This book has brought me to the edge of a nervous breakdown. Many books have. Not necessarily a book. The Bears--the sports team this weekend really made me angry but this is not a tragedy. Books and movies can cause me pain. I learned it from my mom. She was so upset that a guy from her favorite series was shot that she went to bed in tears. I remember it was an Italian movie and the actor's name was Michele Placedo. I could not understand that. I knew that blood was ketchup and the setting was fake but how could I explain it to my mom? Now after so many years, I do the same thing. I guess, we all learn from our parents.
