Due to some difficulties, we weren't able to update you like we did the previous court hearings.
At the start of the hearing, Judge Pastor and the attorneys discuss evidentiary matters regarding information taken from Conrad Murray's iPhone. Some of the information comming from this iPhone are priviledged, but most of the information is not.
Stephen Marx
Stephen Marx waa a computer forensics examiner in the DEA lab in Virginia. Stephen Marx examined Conrad Murray's iPhone.
- Stephen Marx testifies that Conrad Murray received an e-mail on June 25, 2009 at 5:54 am from what appears to be an insurance broker in London.
- Stephen Marx testifies the e-mail's sender was inquiring about Michael Jackson's health.
- The e-mail is confirming Conrad Murray was the only doctor Michael Jackson consulted during a 3-year period and asks about press reports regarding Michael Jackson’s health.
- Conrad Murray responded to that e-mail; "as far as the statements of his health published by the press... they’re all felicitous, to the best of my knowledge".
Tim Lopez
Tim Lopez is a pharmacist at Applied Pharmacy Services in Las Vegas.
- Tim Lopez says in November 2008, Conrad Murray called him to get a cream to treat vitiligo. However, the cream wasn't available to Tim Lopez.
- Tim Lopez lost contact with Conrad Murray and heard from him again in March 2009. In April 2009, Tim Lopez says Conrad Murray ordered packages of the vitiligo cream.
- Tim Lopez declared that on april 6th, 2009, Conrad Murray began to order large quantities of propofol.
- Tim Lopez declared that on that date (april 6th) Conrad Murray ordered 10 single dose vials.
- On April 28th Conrad Murray ordered 4 boxes of 10x 100ml propofol each.
- Tim Lopez declared that Conrad Murray also ordered 20 vials of midazolan and 20 vials of lorazepam somewhat later that month.
- Tim Lopez said that on May 12, Conrad Murray ordered 4 boxes of Propofol, along with 2 trays of midazolan.
- Tim Lopez said that on June 10, Conrad Murray ordered 4 boxes of Propofol, and 2 20ml Propofol.
Orlando Martinez
Orlando Martinez is LA Robbery Homicide detective with 16 years experience.
- Conrad Murray was interviewd by Orlando Martinez on June 27th, 2009.
- Conrad Murray said to Orlando Martinez he first met Michael Jackson in 2006 through a patient's son and later treated Michael Jackson and his kids for flu in Las Vegas.
- Conrad Murray told the detective that Michael Amir Williams called Conrad Murray saying that Michael Jackson wanted Conrad Murray as his doctor during his tour.
- Conrad Murray told the detective for a little over 2 months he has been treating Michael Jackson, assisting him to sleep six nights a week. Conrad Murray confessed to the detective that he would assist Michael Jackson with maximum 50 milligrams of propofol, an injection to get him to sleep and with an IV drip to keep him asleep.
- Conrad Murray declared to Orlando Martinez that he felt that Michael Jackson had developed a dependency on the propofol.
- Conrad Murray declared that in the last three days of Michael's life he lowered the amount of propofol and administered the other two drugs, lorazapam and the midazalam.
- During the interview Conrad Murray only told the detective he had a brief contact by telephone with Michael Amir Williams, he never told about the other calls and text-messages.
