WRITTTEN BY SEVEN:- I bet he knows that 'Sandy-Claus' drove her sleigh right up to Holly Terrace where Michael rests and delivered Christmas to him from his fan-mily the world over. I imagine he is smiling and reading all the cards, laughing, crying from the tender love he's showered with and touching all the ornaments with wonder and hugging all the stuffed animals and dancing with the drummer boys and the little smiling Christmas wizards and elves.
I want to make clear that it is Sandy who lives in Glendale and who coordinates the ordering and delivery of flowers with Forest Lawn flower shop each week. It's Sandy who collects the funds, and who creates many of the beautiful cards with fan's messages to Michael on them, and it's Sandy who goes and takes the photos each week and posts them for fan-mily to see the flowers and cards Michael gets from them each week. This whole thing was initially Sandy's idea! And as we know, it was a beautiful one which has been an amazing success thus far thanks to Michael's loving fan-mily and not least the tireless efforts of Sandy and her elves.
It came about after Lisa-Marie Presley mentioned that sunflowers were Michael's favorite flower and that his resting place seemed empty. Sandy was determined that Michael's resting place would never be empty again, so she mentioned the idea to me. I helped her get the project off the ground via this website but it's completely her program. And, the photos are now mostly posted on Facebook simply because it's easier and more streamlined for Sandy -- and because there are so many of them!
Sandy spent all Christmas eve day at Forest Lawn with her elves and took over 600 photos! Facebook was being very uncooperative as she tried to upload them all and she spent much of her own Christmas Eve trying to sort it all out. As of Christmas morning, she was still uploading! Now THAT is dedication and L.O.V.E! Poor Sandy! I have prescribed for her a hot bath and a massage after all this! Thank God for her elves -- it's too much work for one person!
You can clearly see Christmas for Michael 2010 was very beautiful! He surely knows his fans have not forgotten their Angel at Christmas time! His resting place is FULL of Christmas from all of us! And Sandy is the Angel who helps get flowers and cards to Michael every week from his fans.
God knows I miss him today. But my tears are broken by a bittersweet smile at the beauty showered on him by his fan-mily who love him MOST.
