Bush, Rumsfeld Arrested for War Crimes

ICTY Chief Carla Del Ponte announced today that an EU amphibious military force had sailed up the Potomac, marched down Pennsylvania Avenue and arrested President Bush at his Oval Office desk for war crimes, while Belgian Special Forces commandoes disguised as Japanese tourists had snatched Donald Rumsfeld from a Pentagon briefing. Both men were whisked to waiting helicopters which flew them to Swiss naval ships in the Atlantic.
“We were hoping to also get Dick Chaney, but we figure two out of three aren’t bad.” Ms. Del Ponte said. “We showed the United States that you can’t violate the territorial integrity of other countries when the EU does business with them, and outdated notions of American, er, I mean, national self-defense and sovereignty will not be tolereated by the EU.”

Meanwhile, with Dick Cheney nowhere to be found and assumed to be hiding in the basement of the Halliburton headquarters, a growing wave of popular opinion demanded that Bill Clinton be re-instated as President until the 22nd Amendment could be repealed, allowing him to remain president for life.
