Actualy i think it was done for a good cause. that cat needed a surgery ...

yeah right.. the whole body? and then was that fanning tail that necessary for the surgery? and artistically shaven limbs? You got to be kidding.. surgery... this cat then got to have spine, heart and liver failure, all at the same time...

The only question that comes to mind is why else would a vet shave a sick cat ?

Hey, buddy, let me make it clear, it's not me, who took those pictures. As much as I dislike cats, I am not going to hurt an animal for fun. I don't concider it to be fun.
That's the reason I don't hunt, even though I enjoy shooting sports, because I don't concider killing animals to be a sport.
I don't even know who actually took them, but from what I gather, they were taken by the vet. Someone send them to me, and looking at long list of FW:, this e-mail was forwarded quite a few times, until it got to me.
