Когда-то в юности солист группы, Брайан Молко, поссорился со своей любимой девушкой. Поссорился основательно, причём настолько, что он принял решение о том, чтобы бросить её.
Вскоре после этого у себя в квартире он обнаружил бездыханное тело девушки, а на стене надпись кровью:

Нужно ли говорить, что он чувствовал? Спасение тогда он нашёл в героине. Потому созданную песню называют "героиновой".
На выступлениях он редко исполняет её без дрожи в руках, иногда видны слёзы на глазах.
