Read more Mark Twain is a well-known writer, publicist, public figure, humanist.
His work combines several genres of literature - from satirical and humorous stories
to journalistic articles and fiction with a mixture of philosophy.
Until now, the father of "Tom Sawyer" is rightly recognized as one of the most
outstanding writers and satirists. A curious fact about the "master of the word":
in his leisure Mark Twain was amused to send letters to newspapers and magazines,
where he constantly wrote about the refutation of his death, the lines read:
"Whoever talks about my death, he greatly exaggerates."
In the end, the editors of newspapers were so tired of these humorous lines
from the writer's letters that they began to add the words "unfortunately".
