Горбачев и ЦРУ-КГБ против Арнольда Локшина Часть 10 Книга «Безмолвный террор» (Продолжение) Через год после нашего прибытия в Москву первая встреча с Главным редакторам Издательства АПН состоялась. Он сообщил мне, что редколлегия была против издания книги «Безмолвный террор». Но он любезно убедил коллег всё-таки сделать мне «большое одолжение»: выпустить книгу в свет — через еще 7 месяцев. Но только на английском и французском* языках! Русского варианта книги не будет, даже русского перевода не будет! Я сильно возражал против такого решения. Разве в СССР никто не хочет знать больше о настоящей политике США, никто в стране не хочет знать о причинах нашего бегства из Америки? А насчет «Редакторского заключения» «Представляется целесообразным издание его книги... на основных европейских языках, а также обязательно русское издание... »? «Редакторского заключения» не имеет никакого значения», - тот ответил. Много еще времени было затрачено на «поиск» нового редактора, были еще немало очень неприятных совещаний с редакторами АПН, чтобы «убедить» издательство в необходимости опубликовать «Безмолвный террор» и на русском языке. Затем новый редактор и Главный редактор АПН вдруг потребовали убрать из книги весь материал касающийся ЦРУ, ФБР и психологической войны и плюс к этому, все ссылки! Таким образом редакция АПН взяла курс на наглядную защиту спецслужб США. По-другому не назовешь. Без изложения такой информации и ссылок не было бы смысла вообще опубликовать книгу. Я упорно настаивал на том, что важный материал об вредительских действиях американских спецслужб должен остаться в книге. И также потребовал оставить ссылки. И я окончательно понял, что в Издательстве я имел дело не с товарищами, а с злыми, нечестными врагами, сообщниками американского империализма! Мне приходилось принимать участие в еще немало очень неприятных совещаний, чтобы найти «компромисс». Надо было убрать существенную часть книги и многие цитаты. Но, удалось оставить самое важное. Было затрачено много месяцев и усилий для того, чтобы достичь в конце концов согласия насчет содержания книги «Безмолвный Террор» Затем, надо было переводить книгу на русский. Новая, «сверхсложная проблема» возникла! Издательство АПН «не могло найти» хотя бы одного русскоязычного человека во всей Москве, готового переводить на русский язык нашу небольшую книгу, написанную на английском. Отметьте, что Издательство АПН занималось именно переводами: «Агентство издавало 60 иллюстрированных газет и журналов на 45 языках мира... выпускало более 200 книг и брошюр... в год» (Википедия, «Агентство печати «Новости» (АПН). «Нет, таких нет. Все переводчики заняты. Решение проблемы вашего перевода не предвидится». Куда идти? Тупик. «К счастью», редакция газеты «Аргументы и факты», каким-то образом узнав о проблеме, «нашла» замечательного переводчика Владимира. Через ещё пару недель АПН дало согласие. «Владимир «высоко-квалифицирован». Наконец-то... Я написал «Безмолвный террор» довольно простым английский языком, чтобы не осложнить дело перевода. Сказал Владимиру, если что-то ему не совсем понятно - спросите, я готов объяснить значение любой части книги, любого предложения... Через несколько дней Владимир приехал к нам в гости и сообщил, что он абсолютно всё понял, что книга просто замечательна, и ему очень приятно работать с нами. Обещал переводить книгу в течение 2 месяца — довольно большой срок. Но срок был увеличен до 5 месяцев. То есть, русский «перевод» книги «Безмолвный террор» появится не меньше, чем два года после нашего прибытия в Москву. «Ответственность за русский перевод лежит на нашем Издательстве», - заверил нас уже третьи редактор АПН» (письмо от 19.08.1988). Изучавший перевод, знающие английский язык редактор АПН уверил нас, что русский вариант книги «Безмолвный террор» сделан очень хорошо. Требуются лишь отдельные, мелкие стилистические исправления. But even if it did, the problems of capitalism would not end there. If everything produced were automatically purchased, there would be no end to what prices the capitalists would charge. Infinite demand would lead to infinite inflation. The divorce of money from real value could theoretically approach the character of our fantasy-hypothetical genie. Former US Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke is widely quoted as saying that money (dollars) could be dumped from helicopters. There are no legal or physical restrictions on how many dollars the US Fed can print or electronically manufacture. A more moderate approach is utilized. To the degree that central banks increase the money supply, to that extent they increase society's purchasing power - unless the process is overwhelmed by inflation. Capitalist governments, central bankers and ideologues actually – and explicitly – aim to depreciate the apparent value of their currency, but gradually. Along the lines of 2-3% yearly. (Currency devaluation is the reverse side of inflation.) Who would aspire to devalue their wealth – say, by 25% over a decade? Sounds crazy! But not crazy, as money in modern-day capitalism has lost its status as a repository of real value. Therefore, the increase in the money supply is not infinite, but is doled out in measured steps. Purchasing power – and with it, additional stimulus for capitalist investment and employment – may be nonetheless enhanced in society. In any case enough to temporarily alleviate the contradiction of “over-production,” which is inherent in the capitalist mode of reproduction itself. Enough to forestall – but ultimately not prevent - a major economic crisis. Capitalist society's inherent problems - gross inequality, unemployment, poverty, murderous military belligerence and wars, etc. - remain But gradual influxes of “new” money can relieve – temporarily - the pressures of inadequate demand and therefore abate the economic tensions in society. The Silent Terror Of The FBI - Could The Fourth Reich Happen Here? Part Three The Rutherford Institute Feb 8, 2017 Just as the Gestapo’s secret files on political leaders were used to intimidate and coerce, the FBI’s files on anyone suspected of “anti-government” sentiment have been similarly abused. As countless documents make clear, the FBI has no qualms about using its extensive powers in order to blackmail politicians, spy on celebrities and high-ranking government officials, and intimidate and attempt to discredit dissidents of all stripes. For example, not only did the FBI follow Martin Luther King Jr. and bug his phones and hotel rooms, but agents also sent him anonymous letters urging him to commit suicide and pressured a Massachusetts college into dropping King as its commencement speaker. Just as the Gestapo carried out entrapment operations, the FBI has become a master in the art of entrapment. In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks the FBI has not only targeted vulnerable individuals but has also lured or blackmailed them into fake terror plots while actually equipping them with the organization, money, weapons and motivation to carry out the plots—entrapment—and then jailing or deporting them for their so-called terrorist plotting. This is what the FBI characterizes as “forward leaning—preventative—prosecutions.” In addition to creating certain crimes in order to then “solve” them, the FBI also gives certain informants permission to break the law, “including everything from buying and selling illegal drugs to bribing government officials and plotting robberies,” in exchange for their cooperation on other fronts. USA Today estimates that agents have authorized criminals to engage in as many as 15 crimes a day. Some of these informants are getting paid astronomical sums: one particularly unsavory fellow, later arrested for attempting to run over a police officer, was actually paid $85,000 for his help laying the trap for an entrapment scheme. When and if a true history of the FBI is ever written, it will not only track the rise of the American police state but it will also chart the decline of freedom in America, in much the same way that the empowerment of Germany’s secret police tracked with the rise of the Nazi regime. How did the Gestapo become the terror of the Third Reich? It did so by creating a sophisticated surveillance and law enforcement system that relied for its success on the cooperation of the military, the police, the intelligence community, neighborhood watchdogs, government workers for the post office and railroads, ordinary civil servants, and a nation of snitches inclined to report “rumors, deviant behavior, or even just loose talk.” In other words, ordinary citizens working with government agents helped create the monster that became Nazi Germany. Writing for the New York Times, Barry Ewen paints a particularly chilling portrait of how an entire nation becomes complicit in its own downfall by looking the other way: In what may be his most provocative statement, [author Eric A.] Johnson says that ‘‘most Germans may not even have realized until very late in the war, if ever, that they were living in a vile dictatorship.’’ This is not to say that they were unaware of the Holocaust; Johnson demonstrates that millions of Germans must have known at least some of the truth. But, he concludes, ‘‘a tacit Faustian bargain was struck between the regime and the citizenry.’’ The government looked the other way when petty crimes were being committed. Ordinary Germans looked the other way when Jews were being rounded up and murdered; they abetted one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century not through active collaboration but through passivity, denial and indifference. Much like the German people, “we the people” have become passive, polarized, gullible, easily manipulated, and lacking in critical thinking skills.  Distracted by entertainment spectacles, politics and screen devices, we too are complicit, silent partners in creating a police state similar to the terror practiced by former regimes. Can the Fourth Reich happen here? That occurred in the German Weimar Republic between June 1921 and January 1924. “By November 1923, the American dollar was worth 4,210,500,000,000 German marks “ (!) (Hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic, Wikipedia). In somewhat less dramatic fashion, the Russian ruble lost most of its “value” during the Russian financial crisis of 1998. In 2014, with an increasingly severe economic crisis, another significant devaluation occurred in Russia and in several other countries Money today in modern capitalist society is a Ponzi scheme (see Wikipedia) or a Mavrodi (Мавроди) MMM scheme, in which apparent value (except insofar as the currency has some precious metal backing) is assumed to be real value. As long as governments and their economies are viable, everyone participates in the ruse – the vast majority of the populace unwittingly. In fact people are forced to participate in the ruse, because there is no other realistic way to purchase the items people need to survive. One can argue that gold or silver can be bought with dollars or any other active money. Why not? The precious metals are commodities and can be bought and sold like other commodities: chewing gum, ham, automobile tires, etc. etc. For money to represent real value, however, the coin or currency must be freely exchangeable with a given stable mass, a given weight of the gold or silver. The total dollar, euro, pound etc. value of the sum total of the currency should correspond to the total value (amount) of gold and/or silver in the depositories of the corresponding government or central bank. Nowhere in the world is that now the case. To reflect real value, this convertibility of the money-token should be unalterable, although it is conceivable that divergences theoretically could reflect changes in the amount of labor-power required to produce gold or silver. Marx's dictum is correct: for money to represent real value, “the issue of paper money must not exceed in amount the gold (or silver, as the case may be) which would actually circulate if not replaced by symbols.” The phony-baloney ruse works until a financial economic crisis occurs, at which point the losses in currency “value” may be either sustainable, major, devastating or absolute – depending on the nature and severity of the crisis and whether the particular state survives.

Part Two The Rutherford Institute Feb 8, 2017 Much like the Gestapo spied on mail and phone calls, FBI agents have carte blanche access to the citizenry’s most personal information. Working through the U.S. Post Office, the FBI has access to every piece of mail that passes through the postal system: more than 160 billion pieces are scanned and recorded annually. Moreover, the agency’s National Security Letters, one of the many illicit powers authorized by the USA Patriot Act, allows the FBI to secretly demand that banks, phone companies, and other businesses provide them with customer information and not disclose those demands to the customer. An internal audit of the agency found that the FBI practice of issuing tens of thousands of NSLs every year for sensitive information such as phone and financial records, often in non-emergency cases, is riddled with widespread constitutional violations. Much like the Gestapo’s sophisticated surveillance programs, the FBI’s spying capabilities can delve into Americans’ most intimate details (and allow local police to do so, as well). In addition to technology (which is shared with police agencies) that allows them to listen in on phone calls, read emails and text messages, and monitor web activities, the FBI’s surveillance boasts an invasive collection of spy tools ranging from Stingray devices that can track the location of cell phones to Triggerfish devices which allow agents to eavesdrop on phone calls.  In one case, the FBI actually managed to remotely reprogram a “suspect’s” wireless internet card so that it would send “real-time cell-site location data to Verizon, which forwarded the data to the FBI.” Law enforcement agencies are also using social media tracking software to monitor Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts. Moreover, secret FBI rules also allow agents to spy on journalists without significant judicial oversight. Much like the Gestapo’s ability to profile based on race and religion, and its assumption of guilt by association, the FBI’s approach to pre-crime allows it to profile Americans based on a broad range of characteristics including race and religion. The agency’s biometric database has grown to massive proportions, the largest in the world, encompassing everything from fingerprints, palm, face and iris scans to DNA, and is being increasingly shared between federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in an effort to target potential criminals long before they ever commit a crime. This is what’s known as pre-crime. Yet it’s not just your actions that will get you in trouble. In many cases, it’s also who you know—even minimally—and where your sympathies lie that could land you on a government watch list. Moreover, as the Intercept reports, despite anti-profiling prohibitions, the bureau “claims considerable latitude to use race, ethnicity, nationality, and religion in deciding which people and communities to investigate.” Much like the Gestapo’s power to render anyone an enemy of the state, the FBI has the power to label anyone a domestic terrorist. As part of the government’s so-called ongoing war on terror, the nation’s de facto secret police force has begun using the terms “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist” interchangeably. Moreover, the government continues to add to its growing list of characteristics that can be used to identify an individual (especially anyone who disagrees with the government) as a potential domestic terrorist. For instance, you might be a domestic terrorist in the eyes of the FBI (and its network of snitches) if you: express libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers) exhibit Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership) read survivalist literature, including apocalyptic fictional books show signs of self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies) fear an economic collapse buy gold and barter items subscribe to religious views concerning the book of Revelation voice fears about Big Brother or big government expound about constitutional rights and civil liberties believe in a New World Order conspiracy Much like the Gestapo infiltrated communities in order to spy on the German citizenry, the FBI routinely infiltrates political and religious groups, as well as businesses. As Cora Currier writes for the Intercept: “Using loopholes it has kept secret for years, the FBI can in certain circumstances bypass its own rules in order to send undercover agents or informants into political and religious organizations, as well as schools, clubs, and businesses...” The FBI has even been paying Geek Squad technicians at Best Buy to spy on customers’ computers without a warrant. This leads to a paradox: Money is accepted because it is accepted. “By ensuring careful engraving, the value of money can be protected from counterfeiting. The fact that private individuals cannot legally create money keeps it scarce. Given this limitation in supply, modern currencies have value. They can buy things, independently of any gold, silver, or government backing” (Economics, Paul A. Samuelson and William D. Nordhaus, 13th edition, McGraw-Hill Book Co., New York, 1989, p. 227). Clearly, this is absurd: “Money is accepted because it is accepted.” We could continue along these lines: birds sing because birds sing, the sun shines because the sun shines, etc. etc. “The fact that private individuals cannot legally create money keeps it scarce.” For working people, money may indeed be “scarce.” But not so for governments or powerful banks. A country's government or the central bank can physically print or, far more commonly now, issue electronic money in whatever quantities it deems necessary. Nothing “scarce” here. It is worth noting in this regard, that the central bank of the US – the Federal Reserve – is a private corporation owned exclusively by the biggest banks of the country and has the unique authority to issue as much US money as it sees fit. “What lies behind an American $10 bill? Is it 'backed' by gold, silver or anything? Not a thing. Many years ago, people believed that our (US – AL) currency had value because of 'gold backing.' There is no such pretense today. “Today, all US coins and paper currency are fiat money. This term signifies that something is money because the government decrees it is money. More precisely, the government states that coins and paper currency are legal tender, which must be accepted for all debts, public and private. Metallic backing of money is of no practical significance in the US today” (Economics, Paul A. Samuelson and William D. Nordhaus, 1989, p. 228). “The government states that coins and paper currency are legal tender, which must be accepted for all debts, public and private.” This is essentially government diktat. But what happens when the government issuing a particular currency ceases to exist? The money of a defunct country loses all “value.” Try purchasing commodities with Soviet rubles, Confederate (US) dollars, etc. (We ignore the macro-economically insignificant phenomenon of the collectors' value of obsolete coins – especially if they contain gold or silver – or even paper currencies, if they are rare.) If one had purchased gold before the demise of the USSR, the gold, of course, would still retain value. But the Soviet ruble now has no purchasing power, no “value” whatsoever.

In fact, following the second World War, the U.S. government recruited Hitler’s employees, adopted his protocols, embraced his mindset about law and order, implemented his tactics in incremental steps, and began to lay the foundations for the rise of the Fourth Reich. The Nazi police state was initially so admired for its efficiency and order by the world powers of the day that J. Edgar Hoover, then-head of the FBI, actually sent one of his right-hand men, Edmund Patrick Coffey, to Berlin in January 1938 at the invitation of Germany’s secret police—the Gestapo. The FBI was so impressed with the Nazi regime that, according to the New York Times, in the decades after World War II, the FBI, along with other government agencies, aggressively recruited at least a thousand Nazis, including some of Hitler’s highest henchmen. All told, thousands of Nazi collaborators—including the head of a Nazi concentration camp, among others—were given secret visas and brought to America by way of Project Paperclip. Subsequently, they were hired on as spies and informants, and then camouflaged to ensure that their true identities and ties to Hitler’s holocaust machine would remain unknown. All the while, thousands of Jewish refugees were refused entry visas to the U.S. on the grounds that it could threaten national security. Adding further insult to injury, American taxpayers have been paying to keep these ex-Nazis on the U.S. government’s payroll ever since. And in true Gestapo fashion, anyone who has dared to blow the whistle on the FBI’s illicit Nazi ties has found himself spied upon, intimidated, harassed and labeled a threat to national security. As if the government’s covert, taxpayer-funded employment of Nazis after World War II wasn’t bad enough, U.S. government agencies—the FBI, CIA and the military—have fully embraced many of the Nazi’s well-honed policing tactics, and have used them repeatedly against American citizens. Indeed, with every passing day, the United States government borrows yet another leaf from Nazi Germany’s playbook: Secret police. Secret courts. Secret government agencies. Surveillance. Censorship. Whatever minimal restrictions initially kept the FBI’s surveillance activities within the bounds of the law have all but disappeared post-9/11. Since then, the FBI has been transformed into a mammoth federal policing and surveillance agency that largely operates as a power unto itself, beyond the reach of established laws, court rulings and legislative mandates. The ultimate causes of capitalist crises are brought about by the very nature of capitalist production and reproduction. The system of capitalism leads to under-consumption by the masses of people, who cannot afford to buy the totality of what they produce. We can imagine a fantasy-hypothetical system, whereby some magical external force (external to the real world economy) buys up everything that would otherwise be “over-produced,” paying real hard cash for all these goods. No crises. The economy can roll on indefinitely, without a glance backwards. No such external force exists, of course. But the capitalist class and the governments it controls have devised essentially artificial – and in the long run, temporary - mechanisms to increase society's purchasing power: (a) by devaluing, i.e., “printing” money, so that it is largely divorced from its commodity status; (b) by vastly increasing the amount of government debt. With allowances for occasional reversals, overall (public + private) debt also is on the increase. Both (a) and (b) increase the evident purchasing power of society, easing – only temporarily - the inherent contradiction of “over-production” in capitalist society. To be continued..

Через месяц получил от АПН «Редакторское заключение»: «План-проспект написан живым, хорошим языком. Представляется целесообразным издание его книги... на основных европейских языках, а также обязательно русское издание — свидетельства американского ученого выглядят особенно убедительными». Отлично! In Marx's time, crises occurred with rather consistent regularity every decade or so “and later at more lengthy and less definite intervals” (VI Lenin, Collected Workers, Vol. 21, p. 47-48). The Great Depression of the 1930's was unprecedented for its scope, depth and duration. Stock market crashes and recessions have occurred since that time, but in the advanced capitalist world, the bone-crushing near-collapse of the 1930's has not been repeated – so far. As we shall explain, a qualitative and irreversible distortion of the capitalist monetary system combined with massive governmental debts has delayed the next major crisis. But has not and cannot stop indefinitely a major, world-wide economic collapse. The inevitable crisis has simply been delayed, and the artificial measures used to keep the ship afloat will only intensify the huge economic disruption yet to come. Money: a commodity in spite of all denials. In capitalism, all commodities are exchanged for other commodities. In modern capitalism, we can exclude barter – the direct exchange of non-monetary commodities with eachother – as an insignificant factor in economic life. Marx was emphatic that money is a commodity. “That money is a commodity is therefore a new discovery only for those who, when they analyze it, start from its fully developed shape... some writers have been led to hold that the value of gold and silver is imaginary. The fact that money can, in certain functions, be replaced by mere symbols of itself, gave rise to that other mistaken notion, that is it itself a mere symbol... “Money, like every other commodity, cannot express the magnitude of its value except relatively in other commodities. This value is determined by the labor-time required for its production, and is expressed by the quantity of any other commodity that costs the same amount of labor-time... I assume, for the sake of simplicity, gold as the money commodity” (Vol I, p. 94 – 97). As capitalism developed, it became inconvenient to use gold or silver directly as a means of payment, and tokens issued by banks or .governments were used instead. These tokens first appeared as coins, which usually contained some but not necessarily the complete value of the precious metal that they represented. Then came paper tokens (currency). “Things that are relatively without value, such as paper notes, can serve as coins in its place. This purely symbolic character is to a certain extent masked in metal tokens. In paper money it stand out plainly” (Vol. I, p. 127). But here is the catch: “The State puts in circulation bits of paper on which their various denominations are printed. Insofar as they actually take the place of gold to the same amount, their movement is subject to the laws that regulate the currency of money itself. A law peculiar to the circulation of paper money can spring up only from the proportion in which that paper money represents gold.. Such a law exists; stated simply, it is as follows: The issue of paper money must not exceed in amount the gold (or silver, as the case may be) which would actually circulate if not replaced by symbols...” (Vol. I, p. 129-130). “The issue of paper money must not exceed in amount the gold (or silver, as the case may be) which would actually circulate if not replaced by symbols.” This is the catch. In modern-day capitalism, this very law is constantly violated - everywhere. Marx warned, that if this were the case, the money would fall into “disrepute.” WATCH OUT: BIG DANGER AHEAD.

Коварный план, разработан спецслужбами США и приведен в действие здешними сообщниками империализма, не претворился в жизнь. По ряду причин. Tendency for the rate of profit to fall. The process of accumulation in extended reproduction and the continual modernization of the means of production lead to the gradual growth of constant capital in relation to variable capital. Mutually competing capitalists seek to lower the cost of their production by introducing labor-saving machinery, whereby more goods can be produced with the use of less labor-power. “Accumulation itself and the concentration of capital that goes with it is a material means of increasing productiveness (productivity - AL). The causes which concentrate masses of laborers under the command of individual capitalists are the very same that swell the mass of the invested fixed capital and auxiliary and raw materials, in mounting proportion as compared to the mass of employed living labor (Capital, Vol III, p. 218-219). Modernization of the means of production is not the only means of reducing labor costs Among the other factors are “increasing the intensity of exploitation” (Vol. III, p. 232-235) and “depression of wages below the value of labor power” (Vol. III, p. 235). Marx adds: “As concerns capital invested in colonies, etc., they may yield higher rates of profit for the simple reason that the rate of profit is higher there due to backward development and likewise the exploitation of labor, because of the use of slaves, coolies, etc.» (Vol. III, p. 238). Depression of wages below the cost of labor-power “is one of the most important factors checking the tendency of the rate of profit to fall” (Vol. III, p. 235). All of this and other counteracting tendencies notwithstanding, “the gradual growth of constant capital in relation to variable capital must necessarily lead to a gradual fall of the general rate of profit, so long as the rate of surplus-value or the intensity of exploitation of labor by capital remains the same” (Vol III, p. 218-219). While the rate of profit profit (surplus value) to total invested capital, constant and variable tends to decrease, the absolute mass or profit may increase, especially during “boom” periods. Горбачев и ЦРУ-КГБ против Арнольда Локшина Часть 7 Если Локшины возвращались бы в США можно с уверенностью сказать, что намеченное там убийство Арнольда было бы названо «самоубийством». Кто отрицал бы? Как относилась бы здешняя мощная про-США пропагандистская армия к отъезду Арнольда Локшина из СССР (как планировался, в перестроечное время) и, вследствие этого, к его «самоубийству» в США? Нетрудно полагать, что пропагандистский шум был бы огромен. Так. Американец Арнольд Локшин решительно утверждал, что он был жертвой преследования и кампании террора, проводимых ФБР в США. Госдеп США официально назвал его утверждение «абсурдным». Дальше. Советское Правительство предоставило Локшину и его семье политическое убежище и вместе с советскими СМИ похвалило его (временно). Затем «перестройщики» вроде бы сделали всё для того, чтобы обеспечить ему с семьей благополучие в Москве. Дальше. Несмотря на всё это Локшин отрекся от политического убежища, покинул СССР и возвращался в США. Где он совершил самоубийство. «В США Локшин был недоволен. Приехал сюда — недоволен. Обратно в США — опять недоволен. Покончил со собой. Он — просто псих был». Выводы анти-советских сил: (1) Только сумасшедший тип мог бы уехать из США, чтобы жить в Советском Союзе - при любых обстоятельствах. Социализм «ужасно плох». «Простите нас, дорогая Америка. Нам надо действовать и жить по-американски!». (2) «Коммунистический режим» в СССР поддерживал и похвалил «ненормального» американца. «Долой коммунистический режим!» Коварный, циничный, убийственный план. План психологической войны. Пропаганда действия. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Не вызывает сомнения, что кампания гонения и террора, проводимая в США против нас, была обусловлена уверенностью, что после начального этапа, преследование будет продолжено в СССР. А кто вёл, кто организовал — в интересах американского империализма - суровую, грязную, скрытую кампанию против Арнольда Локшина в Советском Союзе? О чем советский народ не знал, и знать не мог? Ведь ЦРУ — ФБР не могли прямо действовать таким образом на советской земле. Для американских спецслужб обязательно надо было работать с лакеями-посредниками, компандовать мощными сообщниками. С такими силами, которые могли и настроить немало людей против приезжего Локшина. Какие посредники? The chain of payment obligations due at specific dates is broken in a hundred places. The confusion is augmented by the attendant collapse of the credit system, which develops simultaneously with capital, and leads to violent and acute crises, to sudden and forcible depreciations, the actual stagnation and disruption of the process of reproduction, and thus to a real falling off in reproduction .. “The stagnation of production would have laid off a part of the working class and would therefore have placed the employed part in a situation, where it would have to submit to a reduction of wages. “Overproduction of capital is never anything more than overproduction of the means of production... which calls forth disturbances and stoppages in the capitalist production process, crises, and destruction of capital... “ (Vol III, p. 254-256) Such a major crisis set off the Great Depression of the 1930's Four years after the 1929 stock market crash in the US, the average value of stocks had depreciated by 85% - an enormous loss of capital. Many companies went bankrupt. There were waves of bank failures. Wages took a nosedive, and tens of millions of workers were laid off. Deflation set in, as prices on almost all goods fell significantly. Millions of people who had considered themselves comfortably well off found themselves in poverty. According to some estimates, as many as 5 million Americans died prematurely during the Great Depression, as there was no governmental back-up for the poverty-stricken until the passage of the Social Security Act in 1935. And even that and other measures were inadequate.
