This week Ghostlight is #1 on the physical album chart and #2 on the overall chart in Finland! Thank you everyone for making this happen! 🤘🙏 Making an album is always a huge undertaking for me (and all of us, of course), but this one was especially difficult due to several things: some good, some not so good, but all in all, it meant I had to carefully schedule every bit of time I had, and often work evenings and weekends. I decided pretty early on that unlike most of our previous albums, I would leave the mixing duties to others, which turned out to be a very good choice. Mr Jesse Vainio & Lauri Hämäläinen did a wonderful job with mixing, and I had more time to concentrate on song arrangements, recording my own parts and production. I’m particularly happy with Ghostlight’s string arrangements (as happy as an OCD control freak can be, anyway….). I sometimes felt I might have gone a little overboard with the strings, but what the heck… if it’s worth doing, it’s worth overdoing. And I love strings. Thanks again! These things make all the hard work worth it! ☺️❤️

На этой неделе Ghostlight стал №1 в чарте физических альбомов и №2 в общем чарте в Финляндии! Спасибо всем, кто сделал это! 🤘🙏 Создание альбома всегда является огромной задачей для меня (и для всех нас, конечно), но этот альбом был особенно трудным из-за нескольких вещей: некоторые хорошие, некоторые не очень хорошие, но в целом, это означало, что я должен был тщательно планировать каждый кусочек времени, которое у меня было, и часто работать по вечерам и выходным.
