Today I was thinking about my current relationship for the whole day. I have an amazing boyfriend, that I really love and I consider him as my true love. I seriously mean the one and only thing. I've been in love a million of times, been in a long term relationship back in Russia and even been engaged here, in Australia, but that was quite silly of me.  Every single previous relationship was different. from this one, sometimes even think I never really loved before. I mean really genuinely loved. Back in Russia I had a decent relationship with a guy from a town I grew up in, but it was not love, I never considered him as a person I want to spend the rest of my life with and never took all his bull shit seriously. I might not been ready or maybe he was the wrong one. He was my first serious boyfriend and we don't speak anymore. I don't mind, even though I prefer to keep friendly connections with my exes. Here in Sydney, I mostly dated musicians as that's the industry I work in so it makes sense. Musicians are weird and unstable, so mostly those relationships were just flings and hook-ups, before the bass player I was engaged to. He is kind of a big deal in Oz, but I'm glad we realized that we won't be able to keep a relationship normal with all of his traveling and groupies. 

After that I promised myself not to date boys in bands. I met my man on a gig, I liked his band mate and my flatmate and best friend here liked him. He is a sound engineer and a producer as well as a session drummer, so he doesn't have a band! Works at Sony and records big bands:) Well, at least he is NOT in a band and he doesn't have to leave for tours and stuff. 

This is weird, I know. But I guess it was fate. Now we are together for almost half a year already and can't imagine our lives without each other. Making plans for future and moving in together. He knows everything about me and I know everything about him. We are ridiculously happy and looking to start a family together, I'm sure he is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. 

I wish this Valentine's Day, everyone would find their other half and start something new and amazing this year!!

 So I decided not to go to Big Day Out this year. Well mostly because my ex was playing and my boyfriend is not here to come with me, so I didn't want to get involved in anything. I don't really feel like going out recently, just missing my boy all of the time pretty much and counting down the days until he comes back, so we could start living together and be happy every day again.

Even though I missed out on Iggy & the Stooges and Crystal Castles(which were shit again anyway), I did see CSS and Andrew W.K. - both of them were pretty amazing actually, despite the fact Andrew was partying too hard and I had to do my job and thake photos.

It was quite a strange show. The crowd was crazy and Andy(if I can call him Andy) had heaps of people from the crowd on stage with him, which was pretty crazy! His band is so hyper-active!! Good show, but I'll make sure to never shoot as hectic gig as this one!!!

 CSS are no strangers to the stage. Dazzling frontlady Lovefoxxx has herself said in the past that their music was made with only live performances in mind. It may have been a Monday, but as soon as Lovefoxxx appeared, a sea of gold and sequins (her first of many costume changes), yelling ‘Let’s start this motherfucking thing’, the modestly-sized venue felt like a packed out stadium.

After two songs from their very first album, This Month, Day 10, and Off The Hook, CSS had already managed to translate their upbeat synth-pop sound into a cant-help-but-dance atmosphere. It’s always nice to hear a favourite early and Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex did not disappoint. By this stage, Lovefoxx had already stripped down, crowd surfed and spat numerous drinks over the front row – much to their screaming delight. Just a standard Monday night, really.

Under all the sparkles, cartwheels and novelty items (giant inflatable beers for example), lies a simplicity to the music and lyrics of CSS that makes them very accessible, extremely engaging and a lot of fucking fun. Although the synth beats, bass lines and vocals as individual layers are not anything spectacular, when they are punched out together by all six members, it leaves for some pretty intense party tracks.

After making her way once more through the crowd, Lovefoxxx managed to climb on top of the bar, Coyote Ugly style, all the while screeching ‘Do you wanna drink some alcohol?!’, lyrics to the aptly titled Alcohol. There’s nothing too complicated about that, but it was a winner.

Crowd favourite Alala was received with such excitement that Lovefoxxx decided to go for one last crowdsurf, before a hilarious rendition of JLo’s Jenny From The Block.

Overall, CSS are an exceptional band to see live. You cannot help but get caught up in the endearing, hyperactive presence of Lovefoxx that is only helped by her hilarious banter (which is itself obviously helped by a few wines). Don’t take them too seriously and you can’t be disappointed.

Мы все были ЭМО.или ТРЭШГЕЛС.все.все поголовно.И несмотря на свои синие волосы и хардкор в плеере-я была диким позером (но это осознования настоящего времени,а тогда я думала что крута)))

Вот тогда я смотрела на эту девушку и думала что она невероятно брутальна,она прям очень эмо,такая милашка.

И вот.Спустя столько лет!Сегодня ночью я узнаю что эта красавица тоже меня помнит!

Я была настолько приятно удивлена что даже заулыбалась, несмотря на ужасную боль в области живота.

 For the last couple of days we have been discussing a possibility of living together. 

He get's that job with Sony, as soon as he gets back and I will get into a new course in Uni. Bachelor of Education this time, only 1,5 years which is quite good! So I can finally sort out my visa, my life and my relationship! I am really hoping this year will be better then the previous one. And a lot of things would change! *fingers crossed*

As for moving in together:
We are thinking of getting a studio somewhere in the CBD, like surrey hills or paddington area, because it's convenient for both of us, plus he wouldn't have to drive! :) 

So, it is convenient, we both cook, we are extremely comfortable together and we love same things, so I don't think that living together would spoil anything! Plus it's cheaper to rent a studio or 1BR in the city, then moving in with someone else!

 My first ever Christmas with someone very special! 
I remember that I didn't want to get out of bed, while Murray was all heaps excited and tried to wake me up as soon as possible, so we could open our presents! :) 

We started from reading our cards and Murray also read a card from his parents! They written "we hope you enjoy holidays with Annette" I thought it was very sweet! :) He also skyped with them yesterday and I got to say "hi" and met one of his brothers and his girlfriend finally! :) 

We opened our card's envelopes and read them! I didn't write exactly what I wanted in mine, because I was scared and unsure, but I read what I was expecting to read in his, so I replied to the card just saying it out loud! It was the first time he heard "those special 3 words from me".
Such an amazing feeling - to love and to be loved!! ahhh

He started off a big present and opened the box with CK "Eternity" cologne and aftershave in it! I was so worried if he wool like it or not...and he actually did!!! :) I also filled the box with coca cola lolls, as Semone suggested, and that was quite unexpected for him! :)  He loved it! Then I opened one of my small presents and there was Snow white and the 7 dwarfs wrist watch in it :) I promised that it will only show Chinese time, while he is away!!! Next, he opened his smaller present, which contained the Simpsons (Springfield Fight Club) t-shirt in it, he thought it was awesome!! :) And I opened another present with a superman belt and belt buckle in it, after that Murray opened another wrapped up item: piano keys belt buckle and white skinny tie! :) And a little can of DUFF beer, but it actually is like a storage box with peanuts in it! :) 
And my last present was Thomas Wylde black skull clutch which I favorites straight away! :) Amazing!

After that we had to get ready and go have dinner with everyone from the band, before tonight's gig! 
At first we went to Holiday Plaza, which is a shopping mall across the road from our hotel and wondered around, trying to get in that amazing sushi place. but it was booked out, so we had to find something else, while deciding we watched a choir of Chinese girls, singing Mama Mia downstairs and went back to the hotel in the end, because everyone decided to go to a fancy Chinese restaurant down at the hotel. 
It is actually very nice and quite pretty inside, and the food is amazing! 
The only disappointment is that no one speaks English and it was very hard to explain what we wanted:) 
We had a lovely dinner and I love the fact that me and Murray always choose different dishes and share, also I saw him trying to eat with chopsticks for the first time, and trust me...he is not very good with them haha, so we had to exilian to the waitress that we need a fork. It took us about another 5 minutes. So funny! :)

 Dating a musician involves living in a 5 star hotel, traveling, getting smashed every night, trying all sorts of new food, experimenting, midnight 7/11 run-outs, awesome nights and waiting, waiting and waiting, but after waiting I usually get everything I want :)

 Last night I went down to Vbar, took some photos, hanged out with the band and met Murray's Chinese friends! 

It was quite funny when one of the staff guys assumed, that I was Murray's sister. We had a laugh about that and then got a bit drunk and had a big dinner, which was more like a breakfast (at 3.30am) 
I had a pretty good Salmon with mushroom sauce and vegetables! yum!!

Today I pretty much spent the whole day in our hotel room as everyone had to rehearse and get costumes and tune songs and whatever else.So I was doing lessons and work for a little while and then I started to get ready for Christmas Eve Party, which was OUT OF CONTROL! Downstairs bar was so packed!! I never seen that many people at one place, and most of them asian haha :) 
Murray was wearing a ridiculous white suit with tales and red skinny tie, it looked so weird!! But at least later we both looked like we were going to a prom!! 

I met Kiera, who's Michael's girlfriend and we hanged around for a bit and then we decided to go to our room and get drunk on tequila and gin, coz guys were too busy with recordings and all the "band stuff", while in our room, Keira was telling me a lot of funny stuff about Murray and Michael and their mutual friends, I hardly remember anything of it though, because after our second run-down to the bar I felt kinda drunk already and wasn't able to remember stuff haha :) 

We nearly missed 00:00, but we heard the fireworks, so we went up to the terrace of 16 floor, to watch and take some shots! Then back to the bar and I remember that I really wanted to jump into the pool, if it wouldn't be that cold!!!

The rest of the night - a total black-out!! I remember literally nothing! 

Woke up next morning with heaps of glitter on my pillow and heard: "good morning sweetie, it's time to open our presents!" ...

 Today we went to Walmart, to get me some yoghurt, but ended up buying heaps of shit! 
The most memorable thing is: in Chinese supermarkets, they sell fist out of fishtanks, while it's alive!!! That is messed up!! 
Like you go to the supermarket, pick a fish and they catch and kill it for you!!! That is so cruel!! They also have soft-shell turtles!! 

Alcohol in China is ridiculously cheap. A bottle of pretty good Gin is only 14$ and a bottle of Moet champagne is about 35$
Food is also quite cheap! We got heaps of yoghurts, so now I'm able to have healthy food for breakfast! :) 

We also went out to take some photos in front of window of the world themed park! It has fake Eiffel tower, fake Luvre and a lot of other miniature world wonders!! :) I hope we go there tomorrow and take a lot of photos!

I'm going to go down to Vbar tonight and take a cot of photos of all those Christmas decorations and the band, while they play :)

 Arrived to Hong Kong safely at 12:30 pm, on Wednesday. 
Got a window seat again, by the way and my single-serving friend was a lovely Malaysian girl, called Ami. 
She knew a bit of English, so we started a conversation, she told that I have beautiful eyes and that my boyfriend is a lucky man, because I'm flying across the ocean to see him, I hope he understands that also :)
Also she told me a lot about Kuala Lumpur and that she is going to Disneyland for holidays. 
Single-served meal was no good again. Some weird prawn stu, weird rice and dry fish with some kind of seeds. But there also was an egg and a cheesecake:) And they served ice-cream 30 minutes before landing. 

Arrived in Hong Kong, and got the best feeling seeing Murray's face! That was some kind of a reunion! 
We waited for our carpool, coz it was running late. Then we got in a car, filled some weird forms, so we were able to cross the border. 
Looking out of the van's window, I could only see A LOT of unit buildings I wonder how many people live in one, I'm guessing around 800 then we crossed the bridge, which looks kind of like the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco! I was also impressed by the fact, that a lot of buildings being constructed, are half-made out of bamboo!! That is so weird! But Murray told me, that Chinese people don't give a damn about safety, which I found out later that day. :)

It took us about an hour to get to the Hotel. 
Crowne Plaza, ShenZhen is a five-star fancy hotel, that outlooks "Window of the World theme park".
I unpacked and crashed. Was so exhausted!! Our room is very nice, I'll make sure to take some hoots of it to post later!

We woke up around 7pm and started to get ready to go down to the bar. Christmas decorations down there are heaps crazy!! Everything is over-done! Everything is sparkling like it's been raining glitter! I reckon Christmas party will be so full-on!
I met a lot of Murray's asian friends last night and saw a guy passing out on the floor of Vbar. No one cares if you get deadly-drunk and fall asleep in your own vomit! So disgusting!! Eww

  I made it safely to Kuala Lumpur airport, Malaysia. 

Flying Malaysian Airlines was not the most pleasant thing in the world. 
Seats = uncomfortable, positioned in the tail of an airliner! Single serving friend = spoke "No Americano", food = too spicy and pretty gross. Wine was good though!Movies = watched the last song, such a good movie, even sobbed in the end :) 

About the Airport:
Found wi-fi at Starbucks and listening to Best Coast while writing this post. Airport is very pretty. I mean the way it's designed, I even wanted to get back to my interior design past! :)

Last night I took part in an art battle, at the Galeries in the CBD. 
It was a bit stressful as I couldn't draw what I wanted in the very beginning the canvas was pretty huge and very grainy, so I couldn't use the marker properly, so I had to use paint, and if I fucked up, I had to find a way to fix it.

 5 days left until I take off.
I decided to start this journal to keep the memories and keep myself organized. Plus to teach myself how to manage my time, which is very important. I want the next year to be amazing! And I want to get as much as possible out of it!

I'm going to China for holidays, to spend time with someone I care about. And to have my first Christmas with someone special. 

 Watching. Voyeurism is pleasure.
