Taylor Lautner Hopes Fans Dig The 'New Moon' Werewolves

'It was really exciting to see them for the first time,' he tells MTV News of CGI beasts. It's no secret by now that in "New Moon," Taylor Lautner spends a good part of his time either shirtless or as a CGI werewolf. So when it came time to see himself transform into an animal, he was pleased with the results.
"I don't know if [fans will] be shocked, because if you've read the books, you know what you're going to see, but I really hope they enjoy the werewolves," he told MTV News on the red carpet at the NYC screening of "New Moon" on Thursday night. "It was really exciting to see them for the first time."
And if seeing Lautner shirtless in "New Moon" weren't enough excitement for Twilighters, then seeing all the love-triangle action play out in "Eclipse" will certainly pique the fans' already-heightened interest. " 'Eclipse' was my favorite book, so it was a lot of fun filming," he said. "My favorite scene in the entire series is the tent scene, where the three of us are together. And it's gonna be really fun. There's a lot of comedy in 'Eclipse.' "
Much like Lautner, Pattinson and Stewart expressed how excited they are to further dive into the romantic entanglements of Bella, Jacob and Edward. "I think Bella's little bit of treachery in the third one will be ... I think it's going to be a good scene," Pattinson said.
Stewart added: "I'm looking forward to seeing the love triangle actually becoming a problem. We sort of innocently touch on it in 'New Moon,' but it actually becomes something that is very, very real."

The "Twilight" star says he had his first kiss when he was still in junior high, and reveals that he doesn't like a girl who likes to play hard-to-get. 17-year-old actor Taylor Lautner tells Seventeen magazine in an interview that he had his first kiss when he was still a junior high student. "It was sometime in junior high. I don't remember what year, but it was definitely in junior high," he opens up. "I think it was just with a random girl from school. I mean, it's not like I walked up to her and was like 'You're just a random girl and I'm going to kiss you,' but just a girl from school, and we had a little thing in junior high."
Speaking of girls, the Jacob Black of "Twilight" admits that though he has become famous, he still finds it hard to talk with people from the opposite sex. "I definitely wouldn't say I overcame that. I guess it just depends on the girl. Sometimes I'll feel free to completely open up, and I wish I could do that more often because that's what I look for in a girl. Someone that can open up and be herself, but no, I definitely haven't overcome it completely," so he confesses.
And when asked about what kind of woman he goes for, Taylor tells Seventeen he doesn't like a girl who "doesn't know how to smile or laugh" and tries "to play cool all the time." He claims, "Playing hard to get is not the way to win me over. I'm definitely more for the girl who can smile and laugh all the time and just have a good time!"
In the same interview, the young film star also tells the magazine about his worst habit, while at the same time puts to rest report emerged earlier this year that he was battling restless leg syndrome. "I bounce my knees, but I do not have restless leg syndrome," he states. "I did an interview, I don't even know who it was with, and they said I told them I have restless leg syndrome and it distracts me from my work. I do not have any syndrome. I actually have many friends [like me] who just bounce their knees."

They play best friends who teeter on the brink of romance in 'New Moon' -- but what is Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart's relationship like off-screen? Taylor tells all.
"We have a similar relationship to Jacob and Bella's," the 17-year-old star tells People about his relationship with Kristen. "We were very open and honest with each other. So it definitely made [filming] a lot easier."
When asked what he looks for in a woman, Taylor -- who has been recently snapped out and about with country star Taylor Swift -- tells People that he is drawn toward "somebody who can be themselves and not put on a show."
He also dishes about his first kiss, telling the mag that it "wasn't as steamy" as Kristen's on-screen kisses with costar Rob Pattinson.
