Recoil is set to release an album in the Spring of 2010 entitled 'Selected'. The exact date is still to be confirmed but it will most likely be in April or May. This release is a selection of classic Recoil tracks chosen by Alan Wilder who says: "The collection is made up of my personal favourites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience."

So far, the 'Selected' formats have been confirmed as a single CD version as well as a double pack CD. The double CD will feature a second disc including many new remixes and alternative versions, again chosen and edited together by Alan and Paul Kendall.

In support of the album, we are also very excited to announce a Recoil Events tour which will take place across Europe and in the US between March & May. Dates will be announced shortly and you can expect some interesting developments as each city is confirmed.

Depeche Mode + Alan Wilder = это возможно ?!

Недавно я пошел на показ документального фильма: Depeche Mode "The Posters Came from the Walls" в Лондоне.

Съемочная группа отправилась в Лос-Анджелес, Мексику, Иран и другие страны, чтобы найти поклонников, чья жизнь находится под сильным влиянием группы.

Присутствовавший в аудитории Алан Уайлдер, вскоре получил вопрос о работе с Depeche Mode снова. На что он ответил, что он не возражал бы работать с группой! Как вам такой brighting Ваш день? Он шутливо сказал: "Каждый человек имеет свою цену", и что группа, вероятно, до сих пор не простила Винсу ухода. Конечно, нет текущих планов, чтобы это произошло, но означает что Алан по-видимому изменил свою точку зрения.

Под давлением своего мнения, о выходе последней группы, он сказал, что любит песни "Home" и "Barrel Of A Gun" и что "Ultra" является лучшим альбомом который они сделали без него. Его собственный любимый Depeche Mode альбом "Songs of Faith and Devotion".

PS: вот теперь и думай ... будет ли Алан в следующем альбоме ... аранжировщиком ?

Depeche Mode rocken Oberhausen und bekommen Platin verliehen

Eigentlich hätte Depeche Mode bereits Anfang Juni beim geplanten deutschen Tourstart in Hamburg mit Platin für ihr aktuelles Album „Sounds of The Universe“ ausgezeichnet werden sollen. Doch eine Darmkrebsdiagnose und anschließend erfolgreiche Behandlung von Sänger Dave Gahan führten zu einer Zwangspause im ersten Teil der erfolgreichen Welttournee „Tour Of The Universe“ mit diversen Konzertabsagen und Verschiebungen.
