Опять докучаю вас своими неудачными поисками. Дело в том, что я прочитала рассказ С. Моэма "The Happy Man". Всё, вроде бы, отлично, только вот никак мне не удаётся найти перевод этого рассказа на русский язык. Скажите, возможно, кто-то знает, как точно переводится название ("Счастливый человек" или "Счастливчик") и был ли он вообще переведён. История доказала, что успеха, как и любви, нельзя добиться силой. Часто человек может всю жизнь стремиться к поставленной цели, но так и не достичь её. Поэтому бывает так, что успеха добивается тот, кто не всегда заслуживает этого. Встречается такое, что человек, не мечтавший даже об успехе, получает, например, высокую должность.
Если некто имеет потенциал, то он постарается соответствовать занимаемой должности по уровню знаний, по внешнему виду, по делам. и в конечном итоге, человек достигнет того успеха.
К сожалению, часто бывает и так, что человек старается соответствовать только по внешнему виду, привычкам, то есть человек предпочитает "казаться", а не "быть" умным". Он как бы не живёт своей жизнью, а "играет" роль умного человека. Он копирует привычки, внешний вид, занятия окружающих его умных людей. это довольно утомительно-жить чужой жизнью, всю жизнь играть чужую жизнь, чтоб оправдать то, что он занимает чужое место.
В жизни мы переодически сталкиваемся с тем, что кто-то занимающий высокий пост, всегда считавщийся высокоинтеллектуальной и высоконравственной личностью вдруг поступает так, как не поступил бы просто уважающий себя человек. Это говорит о том, что он просто проявил себя, отошёл от роли и из-под одежды святого стали выглядывать копыта и хвост. Глупцы именно так и поступают-всю жизнь играют роль и не пытаются даже вырасти духовно и умственно.
Умные же люди, даже достигнув успеха случайно стараются "подогнать" себя под занимаемый пост, обогатить себя знаниями, вырасти культурно, соответствовать внешне.
Умный человек воспринимает успех как аванс, а глупый как достижение, которое нужно оберегать от других и "делать умный вид".
Я счиатю, что выражение "успех делает глупца умным" полностью соответствует действительности, но всё зависит от человека.

Однажды, космонафт работал на космической станций и ему было очень скучно, и он решил выйти в открытый космос. Там он встретился с очень странными существами. Через несколько секунд после подробного просмотра друг на друга странные люди его сфотографировали и улетели и ему оставили очень забавные фотографий с его участием.
