Mickie Acierno Site was born in New Westminster, British Columbia and began painting in 1978. Mickie paints full time in oils from her home studio in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and is currently represented by the White Rock Gallery, the Stephen Lowe Art Gallery, and Gallery 421. Mickie is a Senior Signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Education - University of the Fraser Valley, Graduate.
"For me, the creative process begins with the act of placing objects next to one another. I seek to establish a composition in which those objects compliment and strengthen each other through light, form, value and harmony of colour. Like characters in a play these objects tell stories that are magically endless.

I am filled with gratitude for the ability to live the artist's life: in my studio, being an artist, every day."

[показать]  Peter Marcek was born in Zilina, Slovakia in 1943, studied in Bratislava at the University of Architecture. Since his chiledhood started drawing and painting and art became fascination for the whole life. In his paintings you can see influence of surrealizm as well marks of old renasaince masters. He is author of many graphic works for differrent advertisment agencies as well medal and emblems for the University of Dubcek in Trencin. In 2006 one of his oil paintings became an artwork for Musical Festival in Bratislava. His art is sold in European countries as well in Canada and USA.
