Сегодня столько палочек подарили, эти которые воняют разными запахами) целый пакет, разные все. не пережгешь их. а в целом мне нравится, ароматы сподвигают на разные мысли, потому что в обычной жизни мы таких запахов не встречаем. щас кедром пахнет в комнате..приятно так) Некоторые их кстати не особо переносят) А вот у меня знакомый есть он жжет их одну за одной, может всю упаковку из 20штук сжечь, а потом пахнет неделю не только в квартире, по всей площадке. Maserati is a son of a bitch hell bent on dismembering every last vestige of the so-called indie rock establishment before it can drive the last nail in its messenger-bag-wearing coffin.

What the fuck am I talking about?

This is not about me or your knowing about that of which I speak. No, fair warriors, this is about the now sound of ass kicking southern rock - a dynamic post-psychedelic orgy of hooks molesting the tired cliche of math-prog. This is Pink Floyd for hipsters. This is stoner rock for the working man. This is an ill-conceived bio for a band beyond the comprehension of your puny earth minds and you like it.

And while we are at it, fuck vocals - Maserati doesn't have time for all that mess. Maserati is rocking a tight schedule and they refuse to be bothered by the conventions of modern rock-and-roll talking points like words... and front persons.

Sure, I could tell you that in the year 2000 Coley Dennis, Matthew Cherry, Steven Scarborough and Phillip Horan met in a bedroom in Athens, Georgia to kill time kicking out the sans-vox sound, then I could go on to discuss their time spent on the now-defunct Kindercore label. I could potentially continue that trek down memory lane and apprise you of the group's turn towards psychedelic im-prog-visation when the 21st Century's answer to John Bonham, Gerhardt Fuchs replaced Horan on the skins. But seriously, what the fuck am I, Wikipedia?

This isn't about facts, this is about feelings, rock hard feelings and Maserati is about nothing if not feeling... you... all night long.

For real though, at the end of the day, Maserati is the sum of her parts... her sweet, sweet mop-topped parts - a mustachioed Brooklyn scene king, a big city architect, a hard drinking college town booking agent and a wide-eyed idealist from South Carolina. She is a fair-haired magical musical hinterland where the quiet storm goes mano e mano with the thunderous beat of 10,000 Orcs hellbent for leather; a post-disco drone machine bristling with the buzz-saw sound of 1,000 angry square waves nestled on a California king size bed of shoegaze swirl. Seriously, get your shit together and catch the live show, write the rave review, buy the record and live the magic.

Recommended If You Like: Saosin, Park, drinking Kentucky Deluxe in a pick-up truck, Bayside, making movies about the 1980's

Despite what I witnessed at a recent Trophy Scars show (in which I stuck out like a sore thumb), there weren’t many kids jamming to the same tunes as me during high school. However, I wouldn’t let something as subjective as musical taste stop me from cramming each of my new “favorite” bands down my peers unsuspecting throats. I had been 1/1000 (Tell All Your Friends, yo) until I stumbled across Novice’s “My Last Breath.” I became the ambassador of those perfectly juvenile tunes, and if we all still attended the same school, the Novice EP would be receiving huge fanfare. Since such acclaim would require me talking to those people regularly, nothing happened, no fireworks or parades of any kind. Well, this review could still catch on fire. Ta-da!

After the similarly low-key release of last year's Forgive The Silence, Novice return after a small break with a five song EP. The band has achieved the polished, melodramatic pop sound trying to peak through in Forgive. No screaming of any kind will be found here, but Mike Gross’ vocals sound effortlessly clean. His delivery feels nonchalant, yet the urgency of prior releases is still prevalent.

Novice EP isn’t full of experimental songs and confusing structures/tempos/lyrics/etc and sometimes that’s just fine. I like knowing the intentions of a band. I know Novice has struggled with this scene and a need (want or desire, you decide) to bring their music to a larger audience. And though this statement isn’t meant as an ultimatum, if “What Have We Become” doesn’t bring them legions of new fans, nothing will. Snares and retching guitars shadow Gross as he beautifully frees his voice of all restraint. If this is the sound of truly unsigned music, we’ve gone astray.

Each song gently bends Novice’s formula. “Dancing In The Dark” focuses on distorted guitars and toe-tappin’ cymbals. “The Cure” has ironically uplifting vocal melodies and a pitchy guitar solo. Still, the main road is never out of sight; nothing ever feels like a misstep. Novice have found a sound worthy of their talent.

Нада бы наверное сходить на Авриль Лавиньку 5октября. интересно только сколько билет будет стоить. Все таки звезда мирового масштаба, да и вообще вживую интересно посмотреть на ее концертик) Очень радостно, что начиная с этого 2007 года к нам приперлось охрененное количество, охрененно крутых исполнителей. Думаю не хуже чем в Лондоне все действие происходит) Очень надеюсь, что tool все же заглянут к нам, как никак переговоры все же велись. а вот вечный вопрос -Приедет ли к нам группа Radiohead наверное уже можно отнести к разряду риторических вопросов...

Но перед тем как уйти я купил упаковку печенья и скормил собаке) И вот вчера я среди белого дня шел домой и откуда невозьмись выскакивает этот песик и давай прыгать, скулить от радости, хвост ходит ходуном. мне так приятно стало откуда-то он меня увидел и узнал. Я его погладил и сказал сидеть и он послушался, я пошел домой, а он остался сидеть...

Teen heartthrob Ashley Parker Angel was born and raised in Redding, CA, by his piano-teacher mother and stepfather, both of whom encouraged him to be involved in music. Veda именно так называлась раньше эта группа, но они решили сменить название и стали называть себя vedera. самое главное, центральная часть ведеры это вокалистка(гитара) Кристен Мей, персонифицируя свой профиль просто совершенно. Ни пересиливающий, ни разочаровывающий странный, посредственный стиль. Голос бесстрашно мощный, шелковистый, гладкий. Думаю сидя одиноким вечером где-либо альбом даст вам немного расслабиться и погрустить.
