Российский вертолет потерпел крушение в воскресенье во время посадки в поселке Баренцбург в Норвегии, три человека погибли.

Как сообщил агентству по телефону представитель норвежского Центра по координации спасательных действий Стэн-Рун Николайсен (Sten Rune Nikolaisen), на борту вертолета Ми-8 были еще шесть человек, которые сразу же после инцидента были отправлены в местную больницу. Причины аварии пока неизвестны.

Поселок Баренцбург располагается на острове архипелага Шпицберген, в 40 километрах от главного города Шпицбергена - Лонгербюйна.
В поселке проживает около 400 россиян.

Шпицберген находится под управлением Норвегии, однако, в соответствии с соглашениями от 1920 года, другие страны, в том числе Россия, имеют право располагать на архипелаге невоенные объекты.

Российский парашютист погиб 2 марта днем на юго-востоке Франции, сообщила жандармерия департамента Верхние Альпы. Инцидент произошел в районе аэродрома 'Гап-Талар', расположенного недалеко от города Гап.

В небе во время выполнению круговых маневров по горизонтальному перемещению российский парашютист столкнулся с французским инструктором- парашютистом. Столкновение произошло на высоте в несколько сот метров. Стропы двух парашютов спутались, и оба парашютиста упали на землю.

Погибшему российскому спортсмену было 50 лет, он приехал на юг Франции из Москвы. Французский 32-летний инструктор сильно пострадал, но остался жив. Он срочно помещен в госпиталь.

Фамилии парашютистов не сообщаются.
