Since exploding onto the scene in 2005 with their debut album, “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out,” Las Vegas band Panic! at the Disco has experienced a fair amount of drama. Over the three years since the follow up to their debut album, the group experienced somewhat of an identity crisis. This coincided with criticism of their Beatles-inspired follow-up album, the departure of two band members and the overhyped drop of the exclamation point from the band’s name.
3 Things You Should Know about Panic! At The Disco’s front man, Brendon Urie.
1. He and his bandmate are from Vegas!
“Most people go there for a three-day bender or something,” Brendon, 23, tells OK!. “But we go to be with family and take the load off.”
2. Bugs creep him out.
“The other day, I found this huge spider in the basement and freaked,” he admits. “Ultimately, I got the courage up to put him outside. I was very proud.”
3. He loves Jersey Shore.
“It’s like watching animals in the jungle,” he laughs. “They’re all pretty wild. I don’t see myself being able to hang with Ronnie or The Situation, though. I’d probably be the guy they make fun of in the club!”
