Андреас понимал, что грубо себя ведет. Но он видел, что у него нет никаких шансов. И ему хотелось хотя бы отыграться.
-Я говорю только правду. А знаешь, он сильно изменился за это время, как стал популярным, даже внешне. Он, конечно, и раньше был странненьким. Но сейчас…Знаешь, я бы и сам в него влюбился, так что я тебя понимаю, - захохотал он.
Герда хотела ударить Андреаса, но он перехватил ее руки. Ей стало больно. Билл никогда не хватал ее так, он всегда был осторожным. Оказывается, мужчины могут быть настолько сильными, что ей стало страшно.
-Отпусти меня!
-Да отпущу, успокойся сначала, истеричка. Понимаю, что правда глаза колет, но чтобы ты мне за правду голову пробила…Не хочется, знаешь ли.
Герда попыталась вырваться, но это было бесполезно. Тогда она лягнула Андреаса ногой. Он поморщился от боли, в глазах отразилась злость. Он протащил ее через всю комнату и прижал к стене.
-Я тебе не Билли, не куколка фарфоровая, со мной так не выйдет! Пора и узнать, что такое мужчина. А этот изящный кипарис тебя явно ничему не научил.
И вдруг в этот момент Андреас взвыл и отпустил ее. Оказывается, изящный кипарис прекрасно знал, где находится печень, и с какой силой туда нужно бить.

Резким звуком в полной тишине зазвонил телефон. Линда и Том вздрогнули, и оторвались друг от друга. Они не пустили совесть на порог, когда она стучалась. Может быть, она решила позвонить?
-Межгород… - сказала Линда, посмотрев на определившийся номер.
Вздохнув, она вышла в коридор и ответила на звонок. Сердце не предвещало ничего хорошего.
Вернулась она в каком-то отрицательно заряженном возбуждении. Это бросалось в глаза.
-Что случилось?
-Том…Эллен. Она пропала! Ее нет нигде. Это из монастыря звонили!
-Но…может быть, она просто куда-нибудь пошла?
-И третий день не возвращается? Томми, это нас Бог наказал с тобой! - Линда впадала в истерику. - Том, вдруг ее убили?
