Всемирно известный рэппер с Ямайки Шон Пол (Sean Paul) присоединился к звездам хип-хопа, которые публично высказали свой протест против гомофобных выпадов в своем жанре.

Лирика певцов вроде рэппера Eminem’a давно вызывает недоумение и возмущение среди гомосексуалов.

Всего лишь несколько недель назад рэппер-афроамериканец Кенни Уэст (Kanye West) заявил, что его направление в музыке должно стать более терпимым к геям и лесбиянкам.

В качестве примера музыкальной гомофобии Шон Поль назвал антигейскую песенку "Chi Chi Man" своего коллеги рэппера с Ямайки TOK, пишет Gay.Com.

"Прямо сейчас обращаюсь к этим пижонам, - сказал Шон Поль. - Ну сколько все это будет продолжаться. Ведь ненависть портит музыку на самом монументальном уровне".
