Hamburg was a pleasant night for Deathstars. Especially since Sonic Syndicate took the full step to become fully Deathstarized. Gradually they have walked their way to the end of the line. Yesterday they even looked like us (see pics) and adapted our patented moves. The tour finally was 100% Death Syndicate Tour.
Today is the end of this six weeks rendezvous with death and glam. We are back in Sweden, playing at KB in Malmö. Dante gave - what we thought - his last breath when he just died outside the venue. We were very pleased. For a while. While we were dancing on Dante's grave the vehicle of hell woke up again, like a disoriented zombie the black beast started to breathe again. Dante Dies Hard.
After getting all our stuff from the belly of the beast the day has consisted of few things. Backstage the iPig is starting up the final party for the boys and the girls. Friends and girlfriends are arriving from far cities. Robin in SS is getting his whole arm tatooed, Skinny is partying, Nightmare is working on something, Bone is hanging out with his family and Cat is at the Hotel. Whip is bandaging his torn knees from all the powersliding.
This morning Skinny was up on deck on the ferry from Germany to Denmark. He found a schoolclass which he got obsessed with. He was desperately trying to find the teacher (who knows why) and was filming people intensely that he didn't know. Bone was watching the whole scenario and was very very surprised that the hooligans watching Skinny's actions didn't kick the bassplayers ass. Incredible.
We would like to say thank you to all the people who came to the shows. You are the best! We will continue with blogging from the UK-tour which starts on April 8th. Last but not least we would also like to salute Sonic Syndicate. A fantastic band and now also very good friends of ours.
What the members are doing right now:
* Skinny is waiting to get tattooed by a really nice guy from Manchester, he is getting a skull in his ear.
* Bone is dancing.
* Whip hangs out with Elin.
* Night is looking at pictures from the tour.
* Cat is watching the Garfield-movie at the hotel, and drinking exotic milk-drinks.
