shame and guilt are always based on some abstract concept of proper behaviour, which is in its turn based on commonly accepted general values - and when our actual habits and ways do not coincide with it, those feelings of shame and guilt produce appropriate changes in our behaviour... but those changes are not at all necessarily based on sincere feelings. if you wanna correspond to the demands of society, you should use hypocrisy. to correspond to the demands of society means to behave rightly. so, hypocrisy is right. but, according to the prescriptures of that same society, hypocrisy is a negative feature. hence, not everything which is right is good. a fucking contradiction we have, don't we? but, according to the laws of logic, no statement containing any contradiction can be true...
...so why then should we follow another prescriptures of this society?..
