There are no special admission rules for students from Sakhalin,
Russian
Federation. The University of Alaska Fairbanks has "sister city"
agreements with the following cities and/or provinces:
Khabarovsk Region, Magadan, Mirnyy, Noglicki, Okha, Providenya,
Yakutsk,
Vladivostok, Yelisovo. Students from sister cities are eligible to pay
the same rates as Alaska residents for tuition.
