Ya do sih por ne dolublivau etot yazik, tak kak ne kak ne mogu ovladet' in v sovershenstve... CHto bi ya ne delala, to ne mogu dostig' togo urovnya, chto korennie amerikantsi. A gal'... V universitet krutoi poiti hochetsya.
But otherwise, the language can be quite fascinating. Especially after you have to comment and annotate, and assiduously analyse every single line in Hamlet, Great Gatsby, The Invisible Man, or Tale of Two Cities...
The authors are geniuses. I am still sure though that they did not ever dream of having poor students try and pretend that they know what the author really meant.
