A Call for Papers
About the Annual Conference
The annual English conference at Southern offers graduate students at both the master's and doctoral level the opportunity to present their scholarship and their creative work in a professional setting. The culture of the conference is broadly interdisciplinary, intellectually supportive and interactive. Topics range from critical theory and literary analysis to pedagogy and academic issues. The nnual theme is meant to be open-ended rather than restrictive. Special sessions focusing on creative writing, graduate assistantships and employment options are typically integrated into the conference format.
