There are four activities that create wealth: Mining, Forestry, Agriculture and Manufacturing. The rate at which wealth can be created via mining is once/evolution of the Universe. Via Forestry, the rate is no more than once/20 years or so. Agriculture can create wealth no more than several times/year. But Ohno has demonstrated that even with the model proliferation that has occurred since Ford, wealth can be created in manufacturing at the rate of hundreds of times/year.
