Yesterday seven of us portrayed men of the 352.Infantriedivision
defending Omaha beach from the allied invaders. We had two Machine gun
teams firing at the invaders, Nco's firing from the hedges and
grenadiers lobbing grenades at the bumbling liberators down on the
beach. We had Schutze Slaugermann operating one MG34 assisted by
Schutze Hallaur and Leutnant Lillefjeld radioing the Batallion
Gefechtstand letting the Hauptmann know that the invasion was at hand.
The other MG pit featured Uffz. Maerz commanding Schutze Boeckenauer
Manning the MG34 with Schutze Schwarzvogel assisting. Feldwebel Schnee
also fought back the invaders with swift blows from his MP40 from the
sandy bluff. Another scene featured Uffz. Maerz with Schutze
Schwarzvogel firing at the enemy whilst Schutze Hallaur lobbed grenades
over their heads at the enemy.

I would like to thank all of you for attending what was our smoothest
film shoot yet. Bill Curtin let me know that your checks will be out
by next week and the drivers will receive extra money for gas. Any of
you who took pictures of the days events, please post them to the list
as soon as you can as we would love to see them.

Bill also commented that the production staff was completely impressed
with us, assuring him that we were one of the most professional groups
of reenactors that they have ever dealt with.
