The feared “Soviet” secret service, the KGB, was always controlled by the the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency of the USA). As such, the CIA - KGB played an insidious and decisive role in the destruction of the Soviet Union.
The KGB's successor in conspiracy, the “Russian” secret service FSB (ФСБ - Федеральная служба «безопасности» России) is likewise controlled by the CIA.
Among the manifold CIA – FSB tasks in stifling Arnold Lockshin is to block almost all commentaries sent in response to my material on the internet.

ФСБ - Федеральная служба «безопасности» России - по приказу своего секретного постоянного хозяина - американского ЦРУ блокирует, не пропускает почти все отправленные мне комментарии.
И это далеко не всё.

Phony-baloney money and the end of “reform”
For the advanced capitalist (imperialist) countries, the late 19th century – first half of the 20th century marked a period of reforms, which led (a) to an improved standard of living for a substantial section of the working class, (b) to widespread illusions about the “democratic” nature of capitalism and (c) to a vigorous and brutal expansion of imperialist super-exploitation abroad.
The reforms were fueled by phony-baloney money and debt which provided considerable flexibility for the ruling capitalist classes to pursue their fundamentally exploitative policies.
Phony-baloney money, if accepted as the real thing, can not only serve as a purchaser of last resort, but also as a vehicle to grant sections of the working class and other exploited sectors of the population certain benefits. Even as these are a product of mass struggle and, even so, may be just temporary.
This process was not a gift. The shift to accommodation of working class demands came as a result of serious and sustained class struggles in the late 19th century and first half of the 20th century by the working class. The United States, as in other imperialist countries, has an important record of resolute – and sometimes bloody – class struggles, where laborers fought for a “living wage,” the 8-hour day, pensions, etc.
The impulse to placate the domestic working class also was driven in large measure by imperialist neo-colonialist ambitions abroad. Massive conquest and super-exploitation of subject colonial peoples required a largely tamed domestic populace. And the working class in the imperialist countries by-and-large failed to support the super-exploited in the colonies and neo-colonies – an abrogation of the dictum that “an injury to one is an injury to all.” Massive chauvinistic propaganda and illusions about the racial and national “superiority” of the oppressor nations played a crucial role.
Since all of this was basically funded by phony-baloney money and did not come out directly from capitalist profits – it was doable.
In addition, the rise of socialist movements and particularly the emergence of the Soviet Union as a world power gave further impetus to the need to placate the domestic working class. The Soviet Union guaranteed full employment, pensions, free education and medical care, etc. My God, there was an alternative!
With all this, none of the concessions could have been implemented without phony-baloney money. Issued as currency and increasingly massive debt.
That period is coming to an end.

With national and private debt reaching astronomical proportions in the major imperialist countries – including the United States of America – a new politics of “reform” has unleashed its ugly head in the 21st century. The US has a federal governmental debt considerably in excess of the entire gross national product of the country. That is to say, the books would not be balanced even if ALL the goods and services produced in America for an entire year were entirely devoted to paying off the national debt. That, of course, is an absurd “solution,” and no one envisions it as such. Without massive, precipitous devaluation of the national currency, this debt simply can NOT be repaid.
And the national debt as well as other forms of debt are increasing, not decreasing.
In the imperialist countries, today's “reforms” are aimed at reversing the modest social improvements that took place during the past century or so. Governmental expenditures for education and health care are being drastically cut; many pensions drastically reduced; safety and environmental protections (for instance with “fracking” oil and gas production) are being thrown out the window. In many countries of the imperialist world there is massive unemployment, especially among the minorities and the youth. In the US, the wealth gap between the rich and poor is ever-widening. There is no hope for the vast majority of racially oppressed, while subservient stooges such as Obama are paraded to “demonstrate” the “end of the racial divide.”
The US central bank, the Federal Reserve, has thrown trillions of contrived dollars at the major banks and financial houses, rescuing them – not the masses of people – from their speculative binges.
The highly-touted “end” of the financial crisis in the US is a fake and will in the not-so-distant future come crashing down.
The end of the era of the “miracle” of phony-baloney money and massive, unpayable debt is not quite here yet, but it is fast approaching.
You cannot fool Mother Nature. There is no overcoming the inherent contradiction of the modern capitalist mode of production and reproduction described by Karl Marx
