Knitting Tension: 17sts x 23 rows on needle size 5mm in stocking st = 10x10cm.

Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 repeat). Pattern is seen from RS and is worked in stocking st.

Long version: Body: Cast on 12 (12-24) sts more and inc 12 (12-24) sts less after M.1. Inc measurements at arm hole, neck and cast off edge by 11 (11-13) cm. Finished length: 70 (72-74) cm. Increase yarn requirement by 100 g white.

Body: Cast on 156 (156-156) sts on long circ needle size 3.5mm with white. Work 4 cm in M.1. Change to circ needle size 5mm, work stocking st and inc 36 (48-60) sts evenly on 1st round = 192 (204-216) sts. Work M.2, then continue in white, until piece measures 26 (27-27) cm. Work M.2 and then finish in white.
Remember to check knitting tension. At the same time when piece measures 32 (33-33) cm work next round as follows: (place one repeat centre front) : Work 94 (98-104) sts across front, cast off 2 (4-4) sts for arm hole, work 94 (98-104) sts across back, cast off 2 (4-4) sts for armhole. Finish back and front separately.

Front: = 94 (98-104) sts. Dec for arm hole each side on every other row as follows: 1 st 1 (2-4) times = 92 (94-96) sts.
Continue until piece measures 49 (51-51) cm. Cast off centre 18 (18-20) sts for neck, then dec on neck edge every other row as follows: 2 sts 4 times, 1 st 5 times. Continue until piece measures 59 (61-61) cm. Cast off.

Back: = 94 (98-104) sts. Dec for arm hole as front = 92 (94-96) sts. Continue until piece measures 56 (58-58) cm. Cast off centre 36 (36-38) sts for neck, then dec on neck edge on every other row as follows: 2 sts twice. Continue until piece measures 59 (61-61) cm. Cast off.

Sleeve: Cast on 36 (36-36) sts on double pointed needles size 3.5mm with white. Work 4 cm in M.1. Change to double pointed needles size 5mm and work stocking st and inc 12 (12-12) sts evenly on first round = 48 (48-48) sts. Inc underneath sleeve each side of centre st alternatively on every 3rd and 4th round as follows: 2 sts 22 (24-24) times = 92 (96-96) sts. At the same time when piece measures 5(5-5) cm, work M.2. and then finish in white. (place 1 repeat centre top of sleeve). Continue until piece measures 43 (43-44) cm. Cast off centre 6 sts under arm and finish working back and forth on needle. Dec each side on every other row as follows: 4 sts 6 times. Work measures 49 (49-50) cm. Cast off.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx 108 or 120 sts around neck on double pointed needles size 3.5mm with white and work M.3, M.4. Cast off. Sew sleeves to body in edge st to avoid seam being too bulky.
