1906 - Moscow Kremlin or Uspenski Cathedral Egg  This is by far the largest of the eggs and was inspired by the architecture of the Cathedral of the Assumption (Uspenski) in Moscow, where all the Russian Czar’s were crowned. It was presented by Nicolas II as an Easter gift to his wife, the Czarina Alexandra Fyodorovna. It is currently held in the Kremlin Armoury Museum in Moscow, and it is one of the few Fabergé eggs that have never left Russia.: Faberge Russian silver & enamel egg:  : Danish Palace Fabergé Egg,1890, presented by Alexander III to Czarina Maria Fyodorovna: Rose Trellis Egg (1907) Presented by Nicholas II to Czarina Alexandra Fyodorovna. No doubt, too, that the Kelch eggs cost them considerably more than those made for the Imperial family, given the parsimony of the Romanovs and the generosity of the nouveaux riches.
