MATERIALS
- 6, 7, 8, 9 balls of S. Charles Collezione Nepal (100% Organic Cotton,50g /90 m)
- 3.75mm (US 5) circular knitting needles 29" OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- 3.75mm (US 5) circular knitting needles 24"
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle

GAUGE: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4" in Stockinette stitch
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

PATTERN STITCHES
Stockinette stitch (Stst)
[Rows] - Knit on RS, purl on WS.
[Rnds] - Knit every round.
Reverse Stockinette stitch (Rev Stst)
[Rows] - Knit on WS, purl on RS.
[Rnds] - Purl every round.

NOTE:
Tee is worked in 5 pieces - FRONT and BACK CORSET WAISTS are worked first from the top down.
BACK and FRONT BODICES are picked up from WAISTS and worked up to shoulders.
PEPLUM is then picked up from base of CORSET WAISTS and worked in the round to bottom edge.
CORSET WAISTS and PEPLUM are worked in St st; BODICES are worked in Rev Stst.

CORSET WAIST (make 2)
NOTE: Piece is worked from top down.
Using 29" needle, cast on 5 sts.
RS: K1, k1-f/b, pm, k1, k1-f/b, k1 - 7 sts.
WS: Cast on 4 (4, 5, 6) sts at beg of next 16 (4, 10, 14) rows, then 0 (5, 6, 7) sts at beg of next 0 (12, 6, 2) rows and, AT THE SAME TIME, inc 2 sts every RS row 8 times, as follows: Work to 1 st before marker, k1-f/b, k1, k1-f/b, work to end - 87 (99, 109, 121) sts. Purl 1 row.
RS: K1, SKP, knit to 1 st before marker, k1-f/b, k1, k1-f/b, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. Purl 1 row.
Rep last 2 rows until piece measures 3.75" along side edge, end with a WS row.
Bind off loosely.

BACK BODICE
With RS of CORSET WAIST facing, pick up and knit 69 (81, 91, 103) sts along cast-on edge, pm before center st.
WS: Knit to 1 st before marker, p1, knit to end.
Shape Bust
RS: Inc 1 st each side this row, then every 4th row 9 times, as follows: P1, p1-f/b, purl to marker, k1, purl to last 3 sts, p1-f/b - 89 (101, 111, 123) sts.
Work even until piece measures 5.25 (6, 6.25, 7.5)" from pick-up row, ending with a RS row
Shape Armholes
RS: Bind off 5 (6, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 2 rows, 2 sts at beg 0 (2, 4, 6) rows - 79 (85, 89, 95) sts rem.
Work even for 1 row.
Dec Row 1 (WS): P2, k2, SK2P, pm, work to last 7 sts, pm, k3tog, k2, p2 - 75 (81, 85, 91) sts rem.
RS: K2, purl to last 2 sts, k2, work even for 4 rows.
Dec Row 2 (WS): Dec 2 sts each side this row, then every 6th row once, as follows: Work to marker, remove marker k1, SK2P, pm, work to 4 sts before next marker, pm, k1, k3tog, work to end, removing previous marker - 67 (73, 77, 83) sts rem.
Work even for 7 rows.
Dec Row 3 (WS): Dec 1 st each side this row, then every 8th row 3 times, as follows: P2, k1-f/b, work to marker, remove marker, k1, SK2P, pm, work to 4 sts before next marker, pm, k1, k3tog, work to last 3 sts, removing previous marker, k1-f/b, p2 - 59 (65, 69, 75) sts rem.
Work even until Armholes measure 7 (7.5, 7.75, 8)" from beg, end with a WS row.
PM either side of center 17 sts.
Shape Shoulders and Neck
RS: Bind off 5 (6, 7, 8) sts, work across to marker, join a second ball of yarn and bind off center sts, work to end.
Working both sides at same time, bind off 5 (6, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 3 rows, then 6 (7, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 2 rows and, AT THE SAME TIME, bind off 5 sts at each Neck edge once.

FRONT BODICE
Work as for BACK BODICE until piece measures 4.5" from pick up row, ending With a WS row.
PM either side of center 11 sts.
NOTE: Neck, Bust, and Armhole shaping are worked at the same time: read entire section before beg.
RS: Cont Bust and then Armhole shaping, work across to marker, join a second ball of yarn and bind off center sts, work to end.
Working both sides at same time, bind off 2 sts at each Neck edge twice, dec 1 st at each Neck edge every other row twice, then every 4th row twice.
Work even until 2 reps of Dec Row 3 of Armhole shaping have been completed - 18 (21, 23, 26) sts rem each side for Shoulders.
Work even for 7 rows.
Dec Row 4 (WS):
Left Neck Edge - Work to last 3 sts, SK2P.
Right Neck Edge - K3tog, work to end.
16 (19, 21, 24) sts rem each side for shoulders.
Work even until Armholes measure same as for BACK BODICE to Shoulder shaping, shape Shoulders as for BACK BODICE.
Armhole Edging
Sew Shoulder seams.
With RS facing, using 24" needle, pick up and knit 71 (84, 92, 100) sts along Armhole shaping. Bind off knitwise. Sew side seams.

PEPLUM
With WS of CORSET WAIST facing, beg at side seam, using 29" needle, [pick up and knit 33 (39, 43, 49) sts to center of CORSET WAIST, pm, pick up and knit 33 (39, 43, 49) sts to side seam, pm] twice - 132 (156, 172, 196) sts.
NOTE: This will create a pick-up ridge on RS.
Reverse piece so that RS is now facing.
Join to work in the rnd.
Knit 1 rnd.
Inc Rnd 1: [Knit to 11 (13, 14, 16) sts before center marker, k1-f/b, pm, knit 20 (24, 26, 30) sts, removing center marker, pm, k1-f/b] twice, knit to end - 136 (160, 176, 200) sts.
Knit 1 rnd.
Inc Rnd 2: Inc 4 sts this rnd, then every other rnd 7 times, as follows: [Knit to 1 st before next marker, k1-f/b, sm, knit to next marker, sm, k1-f/b] twice, knit to end - 168 (192, 208, 232) sts.
Knit 3 rnds.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Block piece to measurements.
Neckband
With RS Facing, using 24" needle, pick up and knit 122 (129, 133, 138) sts around Neck shaping.
Join to work in the rnd: pm for beg of rnd.
Purl 2 rnds.
Bind off purlwise
Weave in ends.
