Морт Кунстлер (Mort Kunstler) – известный американский иллюстратор, художник, родился в 1931 году. С ранних лет у Морта проснулась тяга к рисованию. Сразу после школы он поступил в Бруклинский колледж, затем Калифорнийский университет и Институт Пратта. За свои многочисленные работы у себя на родине он заслужил статус исторической личности, оказавшей сильное влияние на школу иллюстрации США и многих других стран. Тематика его картин ориентирована, главным образом, на период американской гражданской войны и военных и секретных операций и конфликтов первой половины 20-го века. Мы словно наблюдаем кадры из кинохроники тех лет. Немыслимо, но это так.
