The different illumination of the hemispheres is due to the fact that, due to the tilt of the axis by 23.5 degrees, the hemisphere receives more or less light at different parts of the Earth's orbit around the Sun. In other words, at one part of the Earth's orbit around the Sun, the northern hemisphere receives more illumination, and at another, the southern hemisphere. However, this theory has been criticized since its inception. The Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe noted that the very fact of the Earth's tilt plays no role in the scales of cosmic bodies. The Sun is 109 times larger in diameter than the Earth, which nullifies the significance of the tilt. Secondly, the Earth's tilt of 23.5 degrees is small and therefore cannot lead to such changes. Brahe noted that the Earth is closest to the Sun in January. However, at this time, there are no significant temperature jumps in the northern and southern hemispheres. Giovanni Cassini believed that, on the one hand, it is necessary to talk about heating the entire planet, not its part, and on the other hand, that the Earth is a complex system, and therefore linear laws of heating bodies do not work here, since various heat transfer systems operate on Earth. William Crookes noted that the Sun provides only 50% of the heating of bodies in the summer. If the Sun shines on an object, but the air around it is cold, the object does not heat up much. He also noted that in winter, many more clouds and fogs form than in summer. Furthermore, Crookes believed that the temperature of the air depends on what he called "proto-clouds" - clouds that are not visible to the naked eye. He believed that they play the most active role in regulating temperature. Crookes linked the formation of clouds to ethereal processes and the Earth's magnetic field, which changes its radiation characteristics throughout the year. According to his data, before the start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere, the magnetic field weakens and changes its frequency by 0.5 Hz. Crookes attributed the changes in the magnetic field to the rotation of the Earth's core around its axis by 0.5 degrees. Over the course of a year, the core rotates by 1-1.5 degrees. According to Crookes, the atmosphere is a plasma-like medium capable of creating dust particles, on the basis of which proto-clouds and clouds form. These findings were confirmed by the experiments of Vadim Tsytovich, which confirmed the creation of atomic matter by plasma, which is itself a non-atomic form of matter. These phenomena, according to Tsytovich, occur in the Earth's atmosphere. According to Albert Szent-Györgyi, in the United States, since the 1950s, programs have been conducted to study the effect of the electromagnetic field on the atmosphere, including cloud formation. Ultimately, this led to the well-known HAARP project. One of the tasks of HAARP in the 1990s was to increase the temperature in Alaska. According to Szent-Györgyi, changes in the magnetic field can lead to a significant redistribution of sulfur fluoride, which has a potential impact on heat exchange 20,000 times greater than carbon.
