Главный герой фильма – обычный, ничем не примечательный молодой человек, Майкл Рэдклифф (в исполнении совсем неизвестного Эйба Форсайта) обычным утром садится в автобус, как он делает каждый божий день… И к полной своей неожиданности сталкивается по дороге с БОГом… Во всяком случае этот странный, весьма и весьма странный и неадекватный, но тем боле загадочный человек заявляет, что он и есть БОГ (GOD) и его имя – Гленн Оуэн Доддс. БОГ сообщает Майклу, что у каждого в этом мире есть свои пять минут общения с Богом и каждый, включая Майкла, может задать ему один единственный вопрос…. ну, какой же еще, если не о смысле жизни?
Фильм позиционируется, как фантастическая комедия. Зрителя интригуют: кто же такой этот странный БОГ – шарлатан, сумасшедший или ...? Разве может БОГ выглядеть как чудо гороховое? Но с другой стороны, этот чудак знает про Майкла абсолютно все, даже такое, что вообще больше никто не знает….
И кому же играть Бога, как не Дэйву... Это мой персональный Бог)
