С лицевой стороны наметила место пришивания, прометала, чтобы было точно видно со стороны подборта. Располагаю кнопку, ориентируясь на разметку, и приметываю её. Вид с лицевой стороны:

В процессе пришивания нужно не забыть удалить вовремя нитки примётывания, иначе будет трудно это сделать потом.

Яркие нитки выбраны для наглядности. Можно подобрать в тон, но часто делаю это и контрастными (например, на жаккардах, или других пестротканых).

На последнем фото присутствует момент продавливания вокруг кнопки. Это от того, что взят просто лоскут ткани, совершенно не проклеенный. С реальным подбортом такого не происходит.
