Ladislas Wladislaw Von Czachorski
(1850 Grabowczyk, Poland - 1911 Munich, Germany), польский художник. На

In 1867 he recieved art instruction on the Warsaw
Drawing School. In the end of the 1860’s he moved to Dresden and studied
under the direction of Alexander Wagner. After this Czachorski went to
Munich (c. 1870) and studied at the academy this time under Hermann
Anschutz then latter under Karl Theodor von Piloty. From 1874 until 1877
he undertook artistic trips to Italy and France. In 1879 Czachorski
made Munich his permanent home and became an honorary professor on the
academy. Czachorski is counted as a typical representative for painting
techniqes coming out of the Piloty School. After his start making
historical paintings, he began painting illustrations of women in 17th
and 18th Century robes, where the representation of light through
materials played an important role .(С)
