This story takes place a long time ago when people fought for land and power. When women were known as slaves when men had all the power when protecting women was a stupid thing to do when men decided to lock women inside the house and leave them there all there life. The only thing women had power of was their lives. Most women didn’t like the way they were treated but they couldn’t do anything about it but some women escaped from that nightmare by leaving there body behind and escaping up to the havens. There was one woman that was like no other women she saw the world in a different way and when she gave birth to a baby girl she went against all the rules to protect her from the world of nightmare. Eight years she was hiding her from other people. She gave up her live just to save her little girl. Her name was Cho. And the night when she sends her daughter Amaya away to Yuki no tochi her clan was whipped out. Yuki no tochi was much different from Dengen no tochi, Yuki no tochi was a place where women had many rights but they still couldn’t get an education or fight in war they were householders but they were allowed to leave there homes but they always had to come back.
Miyako and Toro owned Cho a favour. And as Cho’s last wish Miyako and Toro adopted Amaya and raised her as a boy.
At the age of fourteen Amaya ran away from home. She just couldn’t live with Miyako and Toro they wanted her to be engaged with some stranger. They knew her well so they engaged her with Zen. She didn’t want to belong to anyone. So as soon as she was left alone she ran away. She was running for days until she couldn’t run anymore. She was found by a captain of the Yuki no tochi army they called them self’s Jiyūna seishin warriors. He took her as his student. He was teaching her everything he knew, so she can replace him when he is gone. He didn’t know that she was a girl when he found her she was wearing men’s clothing and had her hair in a high ponytail she said that her name was Liang. After three years of learning about being a samurai learning how to use katana she was one of the best samurais in the country. Captain Jo was pleased with her work and made her a captain of fourth division. She finally found her place in life.
