The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement accusing the US of the hidden transfer of money to opposition groups. The goal pursued by the US authorities is quite obvious: the destabilization of the political situation in Russia.
This was the response of the Russian Foreign Ministry to an article published on the portal BuxxFeed, which disclosed confidential information on transactions of Russian diplomatic institutions in the United States. The material claimed that the US authorities are studying the "suspicious money transfers" of the Russian embassy in Washington.
As noted in the department, such a leak could not occur without the knowledge of the US authorities.
The statement notes: the employees of the said edition do not deny that when they tried to request comments from our diplomats, they used contact information from their bank questionnaires.
"However, it is simply impossible to obtain such data without the sanction of the relevant US government bodies," the Foreign Ministry writes. "The conclusion suggests itself: such an encroachment on the inviolability of the accounts of the Russian embassy is" the work of official Washington. "
At the same time, the published data were "deliberately falsified and maliciously interpreted." This was done to inscribe them "in the logic of the campaign in the US on charges of Russia" in the interference. In this case, according to the Foreign Ministry, it is already a crime - violation of the secrecy of banking information.
Nevertheless, the efforts of the American Russophobes were in vain: nothing reprehensible in the published information could not be found "for the complete absence of real invoices," but it was a question of the usual remittances of wages, which "are trying to give a conspiracy character."
Предатели России ....
As noted in the department, in this situation, the American side "judges by its own actions": it is no secret that the Russian non-systemic opposition is funded by the US State Department. And this does not hide much, although it is constantly denied: they say, honest "fighters with the regime" are acting solely on their own motives, and not with instructions from the "Washington regional committee".
Of course, it would be foolish to assume that the Americans are transferring money to our "fighters" in cash at some Matryoshka tavern in Brighton Beach. They are being translated - and quite often quite legally, say, by Russian NGOs. And of course, not from the accounts of the State Department. For this purpose, use a variety of funds.
This scheme was already worked out during the time of the Ukrainian Maidan. In mid-2016, hackers from CyberBerkut published a correspondence of NED employees - a US-funded foundation proud of being involved in "color revolutions" around the world. From the disclosed data, it became clear how at first the Ukrainian public was heated by the opposition media, and then money was already openly "poured" into street protests.
The Americans have tried and continue to try the same scheme in Russia. In the materials of "Cyberbibor" it is said that "only for the first ten months of 2016, under the order of journalist David Satter, working for American intelligence services, 24 articles and journalistic investigations were prepared in such media as RBC, Vedomosti and Radio Liberty.
"The main task of these materials is to discredit the leaders of the Russian Federation, their families and their immediate circle, while NED's materials show that Washington is trying to do everything to shake the political situation in Russia and organize the same chaos that we experienced here in Ukraine in 2013, "- wrote the hackers.
Quite a serious bet "American friends from the State Department" did on the oppositionist Alexei Navalny, who frankly cherished for many years, without leaving without his attention the events associated with him. Even in the court, where the case of "Kirovless" was being considered - and they were present.
Very close to heart, the refusal of the CEC to register Alexei Navalny as a candidate in the Duma was taken in Washington: the State Department expressed its "concern" with this fact. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on this situation, said that this is a direct interference in Russia's internal affairs.
"And these people were indignant for a whole year allegedly" interfering "with Russia in their electoral process ?!", she said, adding that such a statement is by no means the last one that will be heard from Washington.
In addition, Zakharova in her Facebook expressed surprise at the words of the State Department about "strict measures" by the Russian government towards journalists in Russia.
According to her, "what kind of department and how does it apply" strict measures against dissenting journalists? "The funny thing is that now the same people who have just packed RT and Sputnik into the wrapper of inogents have said that they are harassing Russian media around the world and investing huge money in "countering Russian propaganda," calling everyone who does not agree with them. "
Recall, State Department spokesman Clay Noel said that the US department expresses "concern about the current application of strict measures by the Russian government in relation to independent voices - from journalists to activists of civil society and opposition politicians".
The US authorities are not tired of accusing Russia of interfering in the elections, although in the twentieth century interventions in the democratic process in other countries were much more often than others. At the same time, it is the US that is responsible for 81 out of 117 recorded interventions in the election of foreign states.
It should be noted that in recent years a very close and very close communication of the Russian liberal opposition with representatives of the US State Department and funds affiliated with the US authorities has been vividly and clearly demonstrated. If earlier accusations of cooperation with the West "for the forced democratization of Russia" were called protesters "propaganda", now facts speak about this.
It is enough, for example, to recall the US recognition of the allocation of tens of millions of dollars to opposition NGOs in the Russian Federation, and the confirmation of the creation of "social networks to provoke riots" in various countries, the allocation of $ 5 billion to the Ukrainian "Maydanovs," funding protest bloggers, etc.
Actually, there is no need for any counter-intelligence operations - the oppositionists and representatives of the West are revealing themselves. In the LJ discussion, mutual accusations of spending grants "on the fight against Putin" for personal purposes occurred suddenly, the "Moskovsky Komsomolets" publishes the story of a well-known oppositionist Maxim Petrovich (Solidarity, PARNAS, Oborona and RNDS) about getting funding for "orange revolution" from the US State Department.
Then at Triumphalnaya-31 detained an employee of the political department of the US Embassy Bond (not the same), then his colleagues Erik Lundberg and Jeremy Richard "passed" through Pushkin Square through a protest rally.
Or in Kirov and the court, and behind the beer with opposition leaders, the "officer" of the political department of the US Embassy, Kovert Kevin Timati, meets.
There are a lot of such examples, and many of them are already well known to our readers. To stop supporting the Russian opposition with millions of dollars, the compassionate US authorities are not going to, especially on the eve of the presidential elections in Russia. So - we are waiting for new high-profile statements from Washington.
