CHICKEN MEAT IN RUSSIA WAS LIFE-THREATENING.

The non-profit organization Roskontrol tested six brands that put broiler chickens on the market and discovered antibiotics, dangerous bacteria and injections of brine, which is used to increase the weight of the product. This is stated in the results of the study of the project, which is available to Lentee.ru.

Within the scope of the inspection, the products of the brands Petelinka, Rzhevskoe Podvorie, Miratorg, Clear Dawns, What I Need, and Every Day were investigated. In all the samples, except for Petelinka and Clear Dawn, an unacceptable amount of microorganisms was found, in some cases the level of the indicator was 20-30 times higher than the norm. As explained in the "Roskontrol", this may indicate violations of sanitary rules and manufacturing technology, timing or temperature regimes of storage and sale of meat.

The products of the brand "Clear Dawn" found a bacterium listeria, which can cause dangerous diseases."Listeria and salmonella are bacteria that cause severe infectious diseases, listeriosis and salmonellosis.Listeriosis may manifest itself differently and have symptoms of both sore throats and lesions of the nervous system, "the organization noted.

During the inspection it was also found that the chicken thighs of the Miratorg and, probably, the Rzhevsky farmstead were injected with salt solutions, which are used to increase the mass of the product. The meat of "Miratorg", "Petelinka" and "Clear Dawn" revealed traces of freezing. Some products had an unpleasant smell and was poorly exsanguinated. According to the research, in all meat, except for "Clear Dawn", there was less protein than stated in the label.
